Hello everyone! Welcome to the Yu Yu Hakusho for the Masses guild!


First, I believe the most important thing I should do, is thank everyone who has joined the guild. Every person who joins, every member, brings something new to the table. It's important to realize this, and in doing so, one must see that without the members of a guild, the guild itself is really nothing at all.

It is in my best wishes that I am able to create a guild that can be enjoyed by all Yu Yu Hakusho fans everywhere. So, in order to create such a guild, I believe that it is wise to inform everyone of what they can do in the guild itself. Now, I worded that very oddly, and I feel it is wise if I just get to the point, and stop confusing you guys. ^^;

This announcement is for everyone and anyone with questions as to just what they can do in Yu Yu Hakusho for the Masses, and allows a explanation of the things everyone can participate in.

There are many things you can do in the guild, and all of it is encouraged, and appreciated.



As the previous owner of the guild stated, "One word that says it all: ART."

And, just like her, I believe art is more that just drawings, or colored pieces of paper that depict the characters of Yu Yu Hakusho. Anything from role-plays, to fanfictions, from fanart, to avi cosplays and cosplays in real life, and even personal opinions on the series are parts of art that are all accepted in this guild. Now, I have come across many people who have asked me many different questions about these things, so allow me to go into detail.

Fanart-
Fanart is possibly one of the most common forms of fan-related things for YYH out there. There are thousands of pictures of everyone and anyone in Yu Yu Hakusho, and all forms are accepted in this guild. (For those of you who are unaware of what fanart is, I believe an accurate definition would be art drawn from a fan of a specific anime, depicting characters or scenes from that anime.)

Fanfictions-
Fanfictions are stories involving the characters of an anime, that are as the name states, written by fans and not the original creator. Any type of fanfiction, whether it be saga based, or not, is allowed in this guild. Show us your writing talent!!

Role-Plays-
A role-play, or RP is where fans take over the characters of an anime, and act them out in either the actual story line plot, or in plots that the fans make up. It is similar to a fanfiction, yet more than one person contributes to it, and often there are characters other than just the original characters of an anime.

Cosplays-
If you think your avi truly looks like someone from the Yu Yu Hakusho anime, let us have a look! Or, perhaps you cosplayed as one of the characters in real life. Please, feel free to post photographs of your costume in the correct section of this guild. Just try not to stretch the page. = D

With everything you are encouraged to do, there are also things that are not encouraged.


There will be a section of this guild dedicated soley to character shrines. Please do not make duplicate shrines; one shrine per character will do just fine.

Also, please note that there are people who are not into yaoi. I am not saying it is not allowed in this guild, because yaoi is very popular in anime's such as Yu Yu Hakusho, however I am suggesting that you watch just how much you support it. Of course pictures that depict the characters in adult situations, and that reveal a bit more than Gaia TOS would allow aren't allowed in this guild. If you really wish to share are like that, do it through PMs because it is not needed here.

Although character bashing is probably an unavoidable part of any anime guild, at least try to not bash the characters that you know someone likes, just to tick them off. I don't really care if you actually hate a character, but please, don't bash the character(s) just to get at the person who likes 'em.
