Anyway.
So I'm sitting in art class, listening to TBP and one of my MCR hater friends asked to listen, because she didn't know what it was. I didn't tell her.
She listened to This Is How I Disappear and The Sharpest Lives before I could wrestle my headphones from her.
She asked who it was and where she could get it.
I told her it was My Chemical Romance.
Suddenly, it wasn't cool anymore.
I thought it was funny.

I have friends like that, but it's a little different.
They refuse to say a single good word about MCR simply because when they performed Welcome to the Black Parade at the VMA pre-show, they didn't like it.
This one guy said he had listened to the whole cd and thought it was crap. Said MCR could "burn in emo hell."
Makes no sense since, I dunno, MCR isn't exactly emo anymore >.>
And when he said this, it was early in October.
Yeah, he's known for pirating stuff, but if the whole cd was leaked people would know, especially me 'cause I'd be pissed off. No cd should be leaked.

My stepdad likes to listen to the radio from time to time. Once I was in the car, and an MCR song came on (i dont rightly remember which one) but he was like "wow, this is really good." and as soon as i said, "omg its mcr" he freaked out and flipped the station like it was poison or something.....
people are weird....

My friend won't admit to liking an mcr song because its apparently 'emo' to him.
And him and his friends like making fun of welcome to the black parade, saying stuff like its about nazi's, even though he's CONSTANTLY SINGING THE DAMN SONG!

My one friend used to say things about how he found My Chem scary.
Then he hears Welcome to the Black Parade and is begging me to make him a copy of TBP.

MCR haters bother me. But maybe finally they'll get over themselves.
One of my friends has Welcome to the Black Parade because his sister was a hater and then she bought TBP and she was like, "OMG you know that band My Chemical Romance and how they kind of used to suck? They dont anymore LOL listen to this song!!1!one!"
So we made fun of her. xD but he only has got the one song from her. :/
I'd love to see how the kids at my old school would react to TBP. They used to lie and pretend they thought MCR was cool to my face when it was obvious they didnt even give a s**t. They either claimed to hate them because of I'm Not Okay, or love them because of the GOY video. Itd just be interesting to see how the new album has gone over. one of my best friends couldnt even get ahold of the new cd for like, four weeks after it came out because it kept getting sold out and it's in a TINY town. I mean, SMALL. Their class is like... 200 people. There are not that many people there. O_O

I am happy to say that I haven't met a person who hates MCR. I know many people who have no clue who they are but not anyone who hates them.
I do want to meet someone who hates them though just so I can prove them wrong at almost anthing they say 3nodding
