Anko Vs. Orochimaru: Ultimately, Who would win? 
A question that I've been contemplating for a while. Anko is ANBU material, Orochimaru trained her. Rule of thumb is that your successor is usually stronger then you. Now time to wonder. Who would really win?

Well, Orochimaru. Because Orochimaru IS stronger than the ANBU. He is even stronger than Tsunade, who is Hokage, and Anko is just about level with the other ANBU.

But yes, I agree, Unless Anko suddenly gets this amazingly cool power in which she could beat him, I think that she could. But right now, from what we have seen. No.

It depends how much Anko hates/loves him. But I think that Anko's out for answers from him, not his life. I guess...

If Anko trained A LOT under Tsunade and got really good, really fast she could win. I have faith in her.
But I have more faith in Oro-sama. Sorry Anko. sweatdrop

Saddly, in truth Orochimaru would win but in other places, Anko's a girl people. Girls kick butt. ^o^

As much as I love Anko (she's my #1 favorite), I agree that Orochimaru would win. Anko is a special Jounin, and looking at her stats from the databook, isn't actually all that strong. Though Orochimaru's stats remain hidden, you can compare to any current Jounin, even a new one like Kurenai, and see that Anko doesn't stand a chance crying

Hmmm...Tsunade anybody? But I don't really think that Anko would allowed help to defeat Orochimaru unless she think really needed it, because of all the pain in her childhood

Although, true, she may not be anywhere near AS STRONG as Orochimaru, she has heart. And her heart, has a desire for Orochimaru's death, as his former student, she has taken the responsibility of killing him.
Now, with that alone, she could put up an at least, decent fight. Maybe not win, but, you must remember the trump cards she holds.
She to can summon snakes. But, the biggest thing she has in her hands, is her cursed seal. Like I said, a decent fight alone would be. If she were to finally release the curse seal, who knows what immense power it would give to her, especially since, it was the first one he gave.
And he told her, she could never be great because she lacked the thirst for power, but she has a thirst, for his blood. Plus, he did leave her alive for a reason. He knows, that one day, she may be able to kill him. I think he hopes that the vengeance she desires, will unlock a hidden hatred in her, and make her into the ninja he wanted her to be.
He knows, that if anyone is going to kill him, it's her.
