Welcome to the Kakashi x Sasuke Thread!
This thread is dedicated to the pairing of Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Sasuke. If you don't already know me, I'm probably the biggest KakaSasu fan on this website, so it is my honor to host this thread, where other fans can show their support! Or explain why they dislike the pairing, as well.
Remember, no bashing! And follow all of the guild rules!

Description: [Spoilers] -Credit to WIKIPEDIA- Kakashi is a Konoha Jonin and the current leader of Team 7, which originally consisted of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. He is known as Copy Ninja Kakashi or Sharingan Kakashi, referring to the Sharingan in his left eye and his use of it in battle, which has allowed him to copy more than a thousand jutsu. Kakashi's Sharingan eye is not his own; it originally belonged to his former teammate, Obito Uchiha.
Though he reportedly has many hobbies, the one pastime seen most in the series is his reading of "Icha Icha Paradise," an adult and probably pornographic novel authored by Jiraiya that is a runaway bestseller in the Naruto world. Kakashi most prominently reads it while training and speaking with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.
Kakashi's personal life appears to be as much of a mystery as the face behind the mask he has worn for most of his ninja career. He has no living family, or at least none he cares to acknowledge, and he's confirmed that everyone he loves is already dead. He is immediately recognizable as the son of (or mistaken for) the "White Fang of Konoha," Sakumo Hatake. Though his face has never been seen, episode 101, which is devoted to Team Kakashi trying to remove their sensei's mask, implies that he is in fact quite handsome.
According to official handbook his favorite foods are broiled saury with salt and miso soup with eggplant; his least, Tempura. His favorite phrase is "Teamwork."

Age: 12-15 (Part 1-2)
Birthday: July 23
Description: [Spoilers] Sasuke is one of the former members of Team 7, consisting of Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura, and their jonin teacher Hatake Kakashi. He was entitled as the #1 Rookie of his class at the Konoha Ninja Academy. He is very popular with girls, though he shares no interest in any of his "fans." He was a member of the prestigous Uchiha Clan, known widely for their Sharingan bloodline limit. However, the clan was massacred by Sasuke's older brother, Uchiha Itachi, leaving only the two brothers alive. Sasuke's goals are to kill his brother and avenge his kin, and restore the Uchiha clan.
Sasuke has a cold and cool personality. He is constantly focused on training so that he may get stronger and get his revenge. Despite his cold personality, he becomes attached to his team, and considers them important people. Even so, Sasuke eventually leaves his teammates and village behind to train with Orochimaru, a legendary Sannin from Konoha who has turned evil. Orochimaru and Sasuke make a deal: Orochimaru will give Sasuke the power to kill his body, and in exchange Sasuke will allow his body to become Orochimaru's next container. After his leave, he has only met with his teammates (minus Kakashi) once, and was successful in escaping their plans to take him back to Konoha.
Sasuke's favorite foods are tuna riceballs and tomatos, and his least favorites are fermented soy beans and sweets.

Many people claim that the Kakashi x Sasuke pairing is merely liked because it is yaoi eye-candy. However, there is a logical reason for such a pairing, and there are many people who respect that logic. Though there are many wonderful KakaSasu fanfictions and fanart in the world, KakaSasu is measured by more than what meets the eye. Like the popular saying goes: You can't judge a book by it's cover!
Throughout the Naruto series, it is evident that Kakashi and Sasuke share somewhat of a Father/Son relationship. Kakashi seems to favor Sasuke over his other students, which is shown by him being impressed at how skilled Sasuke is when they have a spar during the bell exam, and his decision to train ONLY Sasuke before the finals of the Chunin Exams. Also, Both Kakashi and Sasuke have no family, making them similar in a ways. In one scene, Kakashi explains to Sasuke that revenge for his clan will not make him happy. It is when Kakashi reveals that all of his family has also been killed that Sasuke begins to listen to his teacher's words. Clearly, Kakashi sees himself in Sasuke, and is worried that his student will make a big mistake that will ruin his life. He attempts to chase after Naruto and Sasuke after Sasuke leaves the village, and becomes highly upset that he has only been able to retreive Naruto, and not Sasuke as well. Just like Naruto and Sakura, Kakashi cares for Sasuke and is not happy that he has left.
Despite all of the care Kakashi has for Sasuke, Sasuke shows a great deal of respect to Kakashi as well, though it is not very noticeable due to Sasuke's self-centered personality (meaning that he keeps to himself). With no family, Kakashi is the only adult that Sasuke has ever associated himself with, thus seeing Kakashi as family. Also, Kakashi seems to have been the closest of Team 7 to convince Sasuke to stay in Konoha, despite the scene being much less extreme than the Sasuke vs. Naruto fight, and his conversation with Sakura near the gates of Konoha. Without a doubt, Sasuke's inner battle of whether to stay or leave was seemingly affected the most by his teacher. Many fans claim that if it wasn't for the appearance of the Sound Four, there would have been a slight possibility of Sasuke deciding to stay in Konoha.
So if you thought that KakaSasu was a pairing of nothing more than yaoi pleasures, then hopefully these last few paragraphs have given you an understanding that KakaSasu is actually a pairing with much logic behind it. It is obvious that with such an age difference and the lack of shounen-ai in the Naruto series, the KakaSasu pairing will never be. However, Kakashi x Sasuke is far from a crack pairing, and it is a pairing that will hopefully one day be respected by everyone.

Naruto and Sakura are having no problems speaking to their new sensei, yet Sasuke seems to be in another world. As in, he's just STARING at Kakashi. Hmm~ Wonder what that's all about?
Oh, and on page 126, take a look at Uchiha's smirk. "So this is a jounin..." Seems that Sasuke's got respect for his teacher.

On page 130, we see Sasuke peeking at Kakashi from the bushes. So maybe it's because ninja's hide themselves, but Sasuke's definitely observing, and after Naruto gets a buttload (quite literally) of 1000 Years of Pain, all Sasuke can think is, "Two total morons...pft."
Question: Why do these kids BLUSH when their stomachs rumble? It's not like the world can hear them. Sasuke seems to blush the most. >_> Maybe he's got something else on his mind. Or maybe a dirty though about eating our favorite sensei!? *shot*

Page 148. It might just be ME, but Sasuke's face screams "Where'd Sensei go? :C "
Page 153 is more Kakashi spying! And another "Pft." What does that MEAN, anyway?!
Page 159: Oh ho~ So now Kakashi is spying on Sasuke. Kakashi-sensei, that shadowy EYE has "And this is where I'll smex him!" written ALL OVER IT.
Page 167: Drama~ And did Kakashi just call our little Uchiha "Sasuke-kun" ? Yes, yes he did!

It's the major KakaSasu moment! They are battling it out! Annnd~
Page 172-174: Sasuke shows Kakashi his awesome flexibilty. And WOAH. Sasuke was totally reaching for Kakashi's CROTCH. Wanted to get some of Kakashi's bal- I mean...BELLS, eh, Sasuke?
And on Page 174, Kakashi's face...yeah, that's a "Holy s**t, look at this kid!" face. Yep, he's definitely noticing Sasuke's skill.
Page 175: "What a guy..." says Kakashi! I don't have to explain that, do I?
Page 177: Kakashi acknowledges Sasuke as being different from Naruto and Sakura. In reality, though, Kakashi's pretty much saying that he likes Sasuke more. :]
Page 178: Sasuke BLOWS -hehe- fire! KakaSasu is SMOKIN'. <3 Okay, this isn't really KakaSasu...but oh well. xD

Okay, I LOVE!! This pairing. So much. >.< Its almost sick and sad. Well, according to my friends that hate this couple. But I see it so many ways.
Brother relationship:
When Kakashi first joined as the sensei he took to Sasuke like a brother would. Make fun of him. Taunt him. Things that older brothers would do. He was a family. Then that lead to later on.
A Father Son relationship:
Kakashi then later became more of a father to Sasuke. He would train him. Help him get stronger. Lecture him. Obviously, he favored him. Why? Because he sees himself in him.
Yaoi:
Im a Yaoi fan and Love putting them together. They share moments.And Its cute. I mean, If this was a Shonen-ai manga, and NaruSasu wasnt canon it would be KakaSasu.

I think Kakashi even said once that Sasuke was like him. (probably more than once) The time I remember was at the Chuunin exam finals, where Naruto was trying to convince Kakashi to stop the match. Sasuke uses the Chidori and Kakashi says "The reason I chose to train Sasuke was...because he's a lot like me." Or something. XD! They are alike. To me, they need each other, and complete each other. 3nodding xd (How lame am I?)

(Though Sasuke also has fire in his nature manipulation chakra skills) And(ah, spoiler, run away XD) they have a sensitive skin type. And I think Sasuke IS Kakashi if Kakashi had chosen the avenger path. Kakashi led a similar life, and he could have very well faced the same choice Sasuke faced, but just chose differently.

Yes, they are both "lightning" type, and I think since Kakashi knows an a**-load of jutsu (NOT a pun of 1000 Years of Pain. >> NOT. PUN. *shot*), Kakashi EASILY knows a good bit of fire jutsu.
And I think you're right about that last part, as well. I don't see who he could've gone after though. : I mean wahmbulance SPOILER! wahmbulance his father killed himself, and I don't quite remember what happened to the guys who killed Obito. >> Are they still alive?! If that's the case, then yeah, he could've chosen revenge.
Sasuke needs to see that Kakashi has no family, and yet he lives quite humbly. I hope that once Itachi's dead, Sasuke can learn to live like that!
