Hi, phan-peoples. I'm the new ower of this guild, and I just wanted to say hello. ^_^ So, I wanted to let you know I shall be your reigning dictator from this point on. twisted
On a different note, I'm going to try to get this guild a little more active, so can anyone make any suggestions? I've got some ideas myself, such as bugging all the people who've joined but never posted, but I'd like to have input from all of you guys, too. The ideas I've seen are:
-A Chatterbox Subforum
-A Roleplay Subforum (Though we lack active roleplays)
-Other Shows on Nickelodeon Subforum
-Pairing Discussion Subforum
-Fan Fiction/Art/Vid Reccomendation thread(s)
-A Guild DP Fan Site, showing things like fanfiction along with canon information
-Contests for Fanart, Banners, and Fanfiction with prizes
So, comment saying what you would be interested in, whether it's on the list or your own idea. I probably won't be implementing too many changes until December (NaNo is stealing my time), but I really want this guild to thrive. ^_^

~I'd love to get some roleplays going, that would be really fun. ^_^ The more involved ones don't seem to catch on, though; people have tried those before. Maybe lighter stuff would work better. And some stuff with canon characters rather than mostly OCs.
I could definitely scrape together enough gold for contests with prizes, and it would be very fun. ^_^ No one ever seems to participate, though.
Oh, and there is the forum for the Fan Works, but I don't think there are any reccomendation threads. I was thinking there could some nice, well organized threads where people can submit recs and links to other people's stuff.

Also, failing miserably. -_-' I think I want to make the pairing discussion subforum first, it seems like it would be the most popular. ^_^ I hope people can be mature about it, though. I need to see if there's enough interest and activity to keep a roleplay subforum going, but it seems that there are enough people who'd participate. ^_^ I thought that a site would be fun. I wouldn't be able to start one for a bit, maybe over winter break, but I thought if people knew that their work was going to be displayed somewhere, it might encourage them to post some here. ^_^

As for me, there's no pairing that I actually support, so I would love to discuss different pairings. I'd participate in the roleplay, but I haven't done it in a while, so it would take me a while to get the feel for it again. Not even halfway? sweatdrop Heh, well...if you devote the next two days to nothing but writing, it's possible. There's FebNoWriMo, too, though it's a shorter month, so I don't think it's really fair. Consolation prizes might work. They would have to be rather small, but if everyone knows that they're going to get something...yeah. I stopped caring about my gold count a long time ago, so I could donate stuff for that, too. Caption contests tend to do very well. People love being creative without putting too much work into it (the banner thing kind of required people to have some sort of art skill...I was too embarrassed to enter it). Or, like, a scavenger hunt thing where you have to search Danny Phantom episodes with hard and easy things to find. I've seen that somewhere, and it worked. There was also this survivor type game that I played once on a forum (it was Disney style!). It was actually really fun (I came in fourth!), but we would need more active members.

I like my story, though, so I want to complete it. I might try that February one, anyway, it's only a couple days shorter. ^_^ Yeah, I could get enough gold to make consolation prizes, probably. I've seen some sites do round-robin fanfiction things, but the problem is that eventually people start posting incoherent responses and it falls apart. I wonder if something like that could work... What was the survivor game like? What types of things did you do in it? It sounds cool, whether we could do one here or not. ^_^
