sorry i haven't been on..as the heading sudjests i have had a few problems at home..my mom has recently been dinosed with breast caner..and appretnly this one is a rare strand and chemo doesnt work...it normally kills within 5-10 years but ppl have only lasted a few weeks...i am scared otu of my mind...i need any advise you might have that may help wiht the killing of cnacer cells, or helping her in any way...please...thanks..

Leo I'm sorry, my friend. There are a million theories, but in the end, that's all they are. Your mom may stand a good chance if the tumor is operable, and breast cancers usually are- mastectomy is a viable and perfectly acceptable option.
Other than that, support the immune system with echinacea or other immune-boosting help (there's a thread in the Medicine subforum about that), and give a lot of love.
Hm... I'll have to research a little more. I know garlic is reputed to have cancer-reducing agents in it, so maybe Italian food would be a good idea.
