For the crew, do we need to know a lot about all of FMP (FMP, FMP:Fumoofu, The Second Raid)? I'd like to be in this 'crew' thing

No clue, we are waiting for Leader dude to respond to us...cause I have no clue what to do...besides maybe explain our knowledge of FMP...

Okay, now that I'm in the mood for actually ranting, let's get started. This is my knowledge of FMP...since I figured everyone should know what an Arm Slave is, I didn't bother to explain what it is.

Mithril- This is a mercenary group, that his very militaristic, just not actually a military. I'm not entirely sure about all their operations, but most of the time, it's to protect the world from the destruction it might get from the black technologies other terrorist groups would get through the Wispereds. They receive missions to protect the Wispereds or fight against terrorist groups around the world...usually against a group called Amalgam, or having a relation to Amalgam.

Full Metal Panic! somewhat focuses on one part of Mithril, the activities of the Tuatha de Danaan, the very advanced submarine codenamed "Toy Box". The captain of said submarine is Teletha Testarossa, or Tessa as she likes to be called. She is about 16 years old young woman, a Wispered, and is a complete klutz, except in the water or on her ship.

To specify more, the series focuses on a small group of specialist on the De Danaan. 3 of them to be more precise. Sergeant Kurz Weber, 2nd lieutenant Melissa Mao, and Sergeant Sousuke Sagara. Weber is a marksman sniper, and if he focuses off of being a complete perv, can show he really is good for the team. Mao is a really good AS pilot...but any special skills are completely gone from my knowledge. The last of them is the main male of the series, a great AS pilot, but completely lacks common sense in any social situations.

The job Sousuke and his associates are assigned is to protect another of the discovered Wispered. Kaname Chidor, same age as Sousuke and Tessa, is violent...and starts to hate her life, or least she says so, when one Sousuke Sagara comes in to protect her from any Terrorists. The series known as Full Metal Panic!? Fumoffu deals with the lives at school they both live.

Now, onto Amalgam. Very little is known about this organization, but it is the main group that causes problems for Mithril. For what we know, it is lead by Leonard Testarossa, Tessa's twin brother. Using his knowledge, Amalgam was able to create near human sized AS's. Also, Gauron, or "Mr. Iron" as they call him was part of this group. They developed many AS's with the Lambda Driver, a system that takes a persons will and manifests it however the pilot wants it. The only countermeasure Mithril has against the Lambda Driver, is the Arbalest, an AS that also has a Lambda driver. This AS can only be piloted by Sousuke Sagara, who doesn't like it too much, because he doesn't like to rely on equipment that doesn't always work.

And that is my rant for the position of a Crew member. Hope its enough knowledge about the series. Here you go Captain.
