Ok I couldn't wait any longer. I went out and bought the game. Which I really want to be playing right now. Has anyone else played it yet? I've only put in 15 hours so far. (So if you don't see me around you know why. xd My PS2 is lonely and needs some lovin. 4laugh )
The graphics are great and the world seems huge! I find myself getting lost all the time. sweatdrop I'm not good with directions let me tell ya! I always go the opposite direction I'm supposed to. sweatdrop
Anyone else want to talk about it? Be my guest. heart

I love it!!! I think before my data got corrupted and I had to restart, I played for about 8 hours. It is so awsome. I'm good with directions so I dont get lost much but there is just so much space! It takes like forever to get from one side of an area to another! It gets so annoying when you're trying to find a mark!

I think the reason I get lost is cause i get the camera turned around and wind up going the opposite way. I'm getting better at it now though. I kinda have to keep an eye on the map as I'm walking.
My parents also have the game and they've been playing it a little bit longer than I have and my mom says that the dungeons and stuff get even bigger.
Now I think I've logged about 47 hours. Most of the time has been from running around killing monsters to get my levels up and to get more loot to sell. Now that I have all 6 characters in my party I have to buy weapons and armor for them all. xd Takes a lot of gil.
Oh and I haven't killed my second mark yet because I wasn't strong enough. The beast was gigantic. I forget the name of it, but you know it's the one after the tomato-head thing.

I killed the first 4 marks before i had to restart. I want to play more but i just dont have the time with highschool, a job, and a college class. I remeber the second mark, I couldn't kill it the first time I saw it either. I like spent and hour or two just leveling up to beat it. I mostly only use the girls and don't really do much with the guys. I'm a feminist so haveing a all girl party is bliss for me....sadly sweatdrop the game is totlaly awsome though. I think it's becomeing my new favorite Final Fantasy! biggrin

Woah sounds like you've got a full plate. *hugs* Eventually you'll get to play again though. Me... I just have a job. XD Of course I have other stuff I need to do. smile But playing is more fun.
Oh yeah so I went back and defeated the second mark easily and the third one. Now of course I waited too long and its the rains in Giza Plains so I can't ask about the one there.
I try to alternate my party to get their levels up at a pretty regular rate. But I really like having Vaan, Ashe, and Basche in my party. Otherwise I use all girls or all guys..or sometimes Vaan, Fran and Balthier. Mostly cause those two are sorta like a set. lol. Penelo gets left out most the time, but she seems to have the most mp. Maybe its the way I have her set up. *nods* This is easily a new favorite FF.

Well, x-mas break is coming soon so I hopefully will get to play more. The only down side is that I have to rekill all those hunts! So much leveling up!!!! gonk But it will be worth it cause then I get to get though the story a lot easier!!!! xd

I went and bought the guidebook cause I had a coupon for 30% off from Borders Books. I'm in their free book club thingy. ^^ Otherwise I wouldn't have spent the money on it. It was origionally $20 but I only paid $15.
Yeah it's easy to forget how far you are into it if you aren't playing it all the time. I've played for a little over 100 hrs already and i'm not that far into the story. I spent a lot of time leveling everyone up and doing side quests. I think it makes it easier so you aren't constantly having to heal up everyone. Some of the monsters are tough. >.< I'll probably play a little more in awhile too. hehe.

Yeah, I'm doing a bunch of Hunts right now. The monster's are so fricken hard though! They like keep killing me easy! I'm going to have to do a bunch of leveling up.....sadly.... sweatdrop But it is still fun and doing the hunts does make the story way eaiser to get through. It's nice to not have to worry about healing or if your going to get to the next cut scene then be able to save without dieing and starting all over.

Yup yup. Right now I'm about to enter the Shrine of Miriam..I hope the monsters aren't too tough. XD My mom and dad finished the main part of the story but not all the side quests and hunts. I'm taking my time with the game cause it's too much fun.
Of course once I do finish it I will start it again. Cause I know that there is some stuff that I missed in the beginning. Oh and the guide book tells me that there are 4 treasures that you don't want to open in order to get the strongest weapon in the game(Zodiac Spear)..which is already too late for me cause I didn't know that and had already opened the first two of the four they said not to open. gonk

That sucks! I make it a rule that I don't buy guids until after I beat the game. I don't get much chance to play with school, work, and gaia, but I manage to get some in. I just got the tear thing and am making my way to that moutain with Larsa. I can't remeber what it is called exactly and my people arn't quite strong enough so I'm leveling up and trying to beat some hunts too.

I had to do that too. The monsters like got soooo strong from one spot to the next. I did as much as I could with Larsa in my party. I did lots of hunts and raised my levels a ton. It helps a lot.

Yeah, it does help, but I've gotten side tracked with our Wii and Zelda Twilight Princess. It is SO AWSOME!!! I've been playing FFXII more now though, and I'm stuck cause I'm not strong enough to beat the level III hunts but I can't find the one level II hunt I have. The level II one is the cockotrise in the Giza Plains. I cant find the evil thing evil I will destroy it eventually though.
