I watched the trilogy the other day. I knew Army of Darkness for a long time but I could never find the first two. I LOVE the second and the third. The first wasn't really good and the girl that gets raped by a tree... Uck! Did you know that Sam Raimi thinks of doing an Evil Dead 4?

Yeah, but he's been busy with the Spider-Man movies, and I think he's doing an adaptation of something called "The Wee Free Men" after Spider-Man 3. Afterwards, he'll hopefully do some Evil Dead 4 work.

Bruce would LOVE for it to happen, from what I've heard. "My Name Is Bruce" will be the next best thing for now....

there was some suggestion of being a "Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash" but bruce says he can only do it if he wins. And then he proceeded to call all the people in the deal dancing around getting it done pansies or something like that.
The third one's always on tv and very rarely is the first one on, but I saw the second one recently just out of nowhere. Love the movies.

Actually, I believe Sam Raimi wanted Ash to win. He also didn't like the idea of having to restrict what another director would have to do with Ash since he has future plans for him...

Just as long as it has nothing to do with Bubba Ho-Tep I'll be happy. (Although, I did enjoy the movie) It was a load of crap.
I am anxiously awaiting the return of our hero Ash... uh, not another awful Video game port...please?
Another movie...and not based on the comic mini-series from awhile back either...what were thay thinking?
Uh...I'm not a hyper-particular fan boy at all...why do you ask?

Mini-series?
It's still on-going, baby! xd
I feel it's been rockin' pretty hard after the enjoyable-but-somewhat-awkward start with the Ashes 2 Ashes storyline, especially with an upcoming crossover with the Marvel Zombies.......

I got to see him in person last year at the release of his, uh, movie, the man with the screaming brain (got my copy of army of darkness signed! XD). I don't know, I got the impression that he totally didn't want to be ash ever again. He is an angry man.

lol, I hear he and Raimi DO want to do a sequel though.
I know what you mean though. I've seen a video of him at some fan thing and he was pretty sarcastic when folks requested him to do his old lines and stuff.

So, has anyone watched The Evil Dead with Bruce Campbell's commentaries? It's the most hilarious thing in the world. I mean, he's so sarcastic toward his character, it's priceless.

I havn't managed to get my hands on the original Evil Dead dvd so far, just Evil Dead II....and I can't seem to recall if I listened to the commentary or not o.O ARMY OF DARKNESS/XENA: WHY NOT? #1By John Layman and Miguel Montenegro, covers by UDON Studios and Fabiano Neves. The crossover no one asked for -- or expected -- is finally here! Too big for the movie or television screen, Dynamite presents the ultimate "Why Not?" tale as Ash and Army of Darkness meets Xena the Warrior Princess, in the first issue of this 4-part mini-series event! The first issue of this unnecessary adventure finds Ashley J. Williams transported to the world of Xena and Gabrielle, and most importantly Autolycus who bears more than a passing resemblance to our main man Ash. Throw in the Necronomicon, and an evil little Ash taking charge of a group of fairies (the winged kind), and you've got yourselves a story! 32 pages, $3.50. http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0712/26/aodxena1.htm

You know, at first I thought, "That's kinda stupid," but I gotta say. This idea really grew on me.
