So who here loves Mulan?

Who is your favorite character, scene, and song?

My favorite character is Mulan. My favorite scene is when they walk into the village that is in ruin. My favorite song is "Be a Man".

My favorite characters are Ling, Yao, and Chien Po. Hooray for comedic trios! But Shan Yu is really cool, too, in a wouldn't-want-to-meet-him-in-a-dark-alley sort of way. And Mulan rocks! And Shang rocks! And Crickee is so cute and sassy! And Mulan's grandmother is to die for!

Favorite scene? Hm...I'm partial to the scenes with all the Fa ancestors.
"It was your misguidance that led Fa Ten to disaster!"
(Holding his head tucked under his arm.) "Yeah, thanks a lot."
And then at the end, when they're partying, they use his head as a volleyball!

Favorite song....All of them! Really, I could never pick one. "Honor to Us All" just makes you want to bob your head with joy, "Reflection" is beautiful, "Man Out of You" gives you a real adrenaline rush, "A Girl Worth Fighting For" is just fun, and "True to Your Heart" is dance-tastic!
Favorite bits:

Mushu: "They just poppin' outta the snow! Like daisies!"

Grandmother: "She brings home a sword. If you ask me, she should'a brought home a man!"
Shang: "Excuse me, does Fa Mulan live here?"
Grandma and Mother point, mouths agape, speechless with shock.
Shang: "Thank you."
Walks off.
Grandma: "Whoa! Sign me up for the next war!"

Mulan: "Would you...like to stay for dinner?"
Grandma: "Would you like to stay forever?!"
Shang: "Dinner...would be great."

Chi Fu: "Ruffians! You men owe me a new pair of slippers! Hmf. And at least I don't squeal like a girleeeEEEEEEEEK!!"

Chi Fu: "I've a girl back home who's none like any other."
Yao: "Yeah, the only girl who'd love him is his mother!"

Mushu: "Rise and shine, sleepin' beauty! Got breakfast all ready for you! Look, you get porridge! And it's happy to see you!"

Mushu: "Hmm, very nice, except you forgot to put in 'And since we're out of potpourri, perhaps you wouldn't mind bringing up some.' Hello?!! This is the army! Make it sound more urgent!"

oh my god!!! i love mulan. if you ever watch the movie with me you realized how much i know and love the movie because i know almost every line! i love mulan cause she hella kicks a**! can't wait to get the new mulan dvd!

I like Shan Yu one of the al time greatist villans but I love that Mulan uses the shoe as a weapon

I think probably my favorite animated Disney movie. Love it to pieces. 3nodding I'm not even going to start on how often I've seen it, 'cause that'd be rather pathetic. But anyway, moving on.

I love pretty much all the songs. 'Reflection' is beautiful and sad, 'Make a man out of you' and 'A girl worth fighting for' are just plain hilarious, 'True to your heart' is amazing and 'Honor to us all' is just amazing. I can't say I have a real favorite. It's like with the newsies, I've heard them so often that I love them to pieces.

Now, a favorite scene...um...Gosh, I like so many scenes. The one where Granny crosses the street with the cricket is pretty hilarious, I must admit. Well, basically, you could say every scene that features Granny. And half of the Mushu scenes.
Favorite character... Mulan, really. I like her sense of honor, her courage and strong mind. I think she's very admirable.

I have a couple of favorite quotes myself, although Jojo-san already said my favorite.

Mushu: "They just poppin' outta the snow! Like daisies!"

Oh, and when they're admitting what frauds they are.

Mushu: "What do you mean, you aren't lucky?"
waves to Kahn, "And what are you, a cow?!"

And last one:
Mulan: "I see you have a sword. I have one too. There very manly and tough."

yeh this film is great, i just think the fact that a women goes into the army and becomes one of the best soldiers there.

You use "Mushu" as a catchphrase? Interestin'. I actually have the tendancy to use "Mushhushu" as an exclamation. (A mushhushu, by the way, is an ancient Mesopotamian god with the body and head of a snake, the front legs of a lion, and the back legs of an eagle.)

More favorite lines:

Mulan: "I never want to see another naked man again in my life."
[Crowd of naked men run past!]

Granny: "I think it's going well."

Granny: "Who spit in her bean curd?" (I quote this one a lot!)

Mulan: "My ancestors sent a little lizard to help me?"
Mushu: "Hey, 'dragon'! 'Dragon'! I don't do that tongue thing!"
[Mushu does that tongue thing.]
Mulan: "You're so..."
Mushu: "Intimidating?"
Mulan: "Tiny."
Mushu: "Of course! I'm travel-sized for yo' convenience! If I was my real size, your cow here would die o' fright!"
[Khan snaps at his patting-on-nose hand.]
Mushu: "Down, Bessy!"

Ancestor: "We never had this problem on my side of the family! We all became acupuncturists!"
Another ancestor: "Well, we can't all be acupuncturists!"
Yet another ancestor: "No, your great-granddaughter had to be a cross-dresser!!"

Emporer: "Chi Fu, make this woman a member of my Imperial Council."
Chi Fu: "Bu-But Yoah Majeshty, zhere awe no council poshitions hopen."
Emporer: (Motions at Chi Fu) "Okay, you can have his job."

Yao: "Does this dress make me look fat?"

Hun: "Concubines!"
Other Hun: "Ugly concubines."

well yeh, not really a catch phrase, but i used to say his name alot, and i used to say it to my brother when he was annoying me, i just shouted it in his face, when he was tryin 2 argue with me
