arrow Middle of the country, neutral land which is shared by the Five Clans.
For five days, Wolf had been travelling from Requiem land. He stopped at the top of the hill and looked down on all sides of him. To the east, lied a village, while to the north, south and west laid long, near endless plains. Wolf dropped his satchel and spear on the ground and sat on the green grass. He looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was casting a red light over the land as it was falling behind the horizon.
"Time to find lodging," he thought.
He picked himself up and walked towards the village.

Wolf walked through the village. Everyone looked at him as though he was alien.
"Personally, I don't blame them. It's probably got something to do with my giant spear," he thought
He finally stopped in front of a swinging sign, which invited him to stay at "The Drunken Parrot". He entered the door and was welcomed by a cosy inn setting, with a group of drunken men in the corner. He walked to the innkeeper. It was rather loud so he had to speak up.
"How much a night?"
"WHAT!? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!"
"HOW MUCH A NIGHT!?!?!"
"A PIECE OF SILVER, MATE!!!"
"I'LL TAKE A ROOM!!!!"
"ALRIGHT! JUST FOLLOW ME THEN!"
The inn keeper led Wolf upstairs and finally to the end hall where he made a left into a room. Wolf inspected the room, which was rather bland. The innkeeper turned to him.
"Sorry about the noise downstairs, we'll have a meal and drink ready for you soon."
"Thank you."
Wolf handed him the silver piece and something a little extra.
"You are most kind, sir."
Wolf smiled and entered his room and closed the door behind him.

((ok den i shall post. Im a slow thinker just wait a bit.)) Umm ok... Kit rode through the town she had spied well over an hour ago. As she did so she could see many of the villagers staring at her. "Excuse me.." she began to an old woman who was walking along the road "Can you please tell me where I might find an inn?" The old woman paid no attention to her. Kit rode off after the woman failed to respond. But she did here the old woman mutter "Thats the second one today."
As Kit was just about to go and sleep on the plains she found the Drunken Parrot. "I guess this will have to do." she said as she dismounted her horse. "Ah Hello.." A boy about 10 years old ran up to take the reins from her hand "Sorry miss.. Its a busy night tonight" "Its alright." she answered after taking her saddlebags off her horse. She gave the boy a copper peice and walked towards the entrance. She winced as she heard all the noise inside. Kit scanned the room and walked towards who she assumed to be the innkeeper. "Umm Excuse me I would like to have a room." She shouted "A silver piece." He shouted "Follow me" as she nodded to his price As they walked up the stairs the noise abated a little. "Here is your room" He said as he pushed open the door. "Thank you." Kit answered giving him his money. "Dinner will be ready in a little while." He said as he walked out the door. ((Bit long i no))

((Nah, nah, it's fine))
Wolf laid in bed staring up at the ceiling. The roar of the busy crowd downstairs seemed to echo in his room. He jumped out of bed and opened the window to allow a cool wind to come through the room. He yawned and took off his satchel and placed it on his bedpost.
At that time, a knock came at the door.
"That must be dinner," he thought
He opened his door just to find his meal and drink. Wolf looked up and down the hall.
"I wonder how many other people are here..."

After the door had closed and she had checked the room for spyholes, Kit sat down and unpacked her throwing knives. Her head was pounding from her ride and the noise downstairs. She had to lie down. Kit twisted around on the uncomfortable bed. After dozing for a while a knock came at the door.
"'Bout time" she mumbled as she stumbled around towards the door. She found her meal and drink carried by the boy who took her horse at the stable yard. "Thank you" she said as she took the tray from his hands she gave him a copper coin for his troubles He eyed her knives as he walked out the door.

Wolf looked down the hall and saw Kit take her plate. Wolf also eyed her knives.
"Jesus, those are huge knives," he thought.
He bent down to pick up his plate.
"There's something odd about her," he thought.
He walked through the door to his room and shut his door.

Kit sat down at the table beside her bed and started to eat her meal. "Bit bland. Oh well.." she thought as she ate her meal "Better than what i have." She took her knives off and took her tray down to the innkeeper. The noise was still loud, but softer than before so she decided to stay down in the common room for a little while. She sat down in an empty corner and started to watch the goings-on.

Wolf proceeded to eat his food. Though it was a bit bland, it was edible. Wolf took a swig from the cup the innkeeper gave him. He spat it out. He yelled out.
"THERE'S A BLOODY HUMAN FINGER IN HERE!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?!?!"
He took his finished tray and his cup and ran downstairs, to the innkeeper.
"MATE!?"
"You don't have to speak so loud, it's quietened down."
"I DON'T CARE! THERE'S A HUMAN FINGER IN MY CUP!!!!"
The innkeeper looked in it and jumped a metre back.
"Christ, you're right! Many apologies, sir."
He disappeared in the back and produced another cup. Wolf took it and put his finger just to make sure there wasn't anything in the drink. He sat down in the common room near the corner and started to drink the brew.
"Bloody bastards for screwing up."

Kit watched as the man screamed at the innkeeper about a finger in his cup. She was laughing softly at his predicament.

"A HUMAN FINGER!? WHY ME!" he thought.
He saw the woman laughing at him. He hanged his head in disappointment.
"Now I'm the butt of all jokes, great."
He continued to sip his new brew. Finding it too warm, Wolf summoned a stream of water, froze it and separated it into ice cubes.
"That's better," he thought.

Wolf grinned back.
"Maybe you're right, missy."
He finished the last of his drink and returned to the innkeeper who refilled it for him free of charge. He sat back down at his seat.
"I didn't expect him to do that, missy. Thank you. So what brings you here?"
