Well, we're very close to the point when we'll start creating the IC Realms. So, I'd just like to get some input from everyone here as to what our first Realm should be.
I've heard a lot of good suggestions on my thread in the Barton OOC forum, so if you had posted a suggestion there previously, please elaborate on your ideas here.
If anyone else has an idea of what our first Realm should be, post a reply about it! smile
Of course, if you don't have any thoughts on the subject, your input on which Realm idea you think should be created first is greatly appreciated as well!
Let the brain-storming begin!! xd

I beleive in keeping things pretty open for most people. Therefor if we have a basic idea it really just depends on what kind of time frame we want to have characters in ya...Then again look how well final fantasy did. Incoorporating everything from guns to swords, and trains to airships.
So my idea would be have the depth of our rping done in a time frame that allows us a lot of character development. I mean being able to one day go from being a farmer to the next day being a marksman is always cool right. ^^
Anyways Ill have more ideas for imput when Im good and awake. Had a strange night.. :S

Well the idea I worked on is the fantastical western scenario. A melding of the American Western myth and the medieval European fantasy...
Not sure, at the moment, if it would be a re imagining of the world circa the American civil war or set in an entirely new world. The idea is that one civil war sparked off a series of others around the planet, crumbling once mighty world spanning nations in to a series duchies, kingdoms, baronies, villages, city states, etc... Pretty much guaranteeing the reemergence of feudalism.
So you'd have a few swords men left, a whole lot of people knowing how to use guns. The technology would be stunted because of all these wars; instead of one great war forcing innovation in how to kill people it would be many many smaller wars keeping people in the effort to just stay alive.
Think what it must have been like in Europe right after Rome withdrew all her armies.
Also, in this world, there would be fantastical being. Dwarves, elves, humans, dragons, and a whole bunch of other beasts that are common to the fantasy genre.
biggrin that's my idea wink

I have a concept for a science fiction post-apocalyptical setting. Gritty, dangerous sort of wasteland with radiation-mutated ghoulies and whatnot. I could probably have some info together for it fairly quickly if anyone is interested in it.
If not, I have a setting (and actually, a bit of a plot) for a modern-day supernatural which includes humans, werewolves and vampires as the primary races. I can elaborate on this one further if anyone is intrigued, and I'd be willing to partner up with someone if they would want to help give input.

To be honest- I have two ideas- the first I am sure wont be met too fondly by many, but has potential if done PROPERLY.
One- A Vampyre Roleplay set in the early 1800's (Victorian era). -The vampyres all follow the old mythos, ie- They can not touch or be touched by a cross, They sleep in coffins (Or deep crypt like areas). they have no reflection and can only feed upon human blood. - All vampyres would adhere to a group of elders, as well as a set of rules called the Masqurade. -There is a war going on between the 'Others' (Were-Creatures) and the Vampyres (As well as mini power wars between each of the clans or families withing the Vampyre race. -Vampyres are not a common place thing... there fore most would likely need to be human or 'Other'
(Yeah okay you get it XD)
And the other RP i have in mind is STRONGLY based off of an D&D campaign my GM had created himself years ago, which I have notes and such on that I wish to turn into a RP.
I think thats about it... for me anyway... Yeah im too generic.. *stabs her foot with her tablet's stylus*

I think we could possibly meld our vampire/vampyre (I'm fine for either spelling xD) ideas together. I'll talk to you ASAP about that. I like the Victorian age, but it can be difficult to find info for it/manage the huffy-puffy culture correctly. But for an inter-war between the three, I have defined clans semi-laid out in my mind I can tell you about and I looove input and such forth. :3

Personally, I don't care what the first IC Realm is about, since I'll probably be too busy setting up Realms and other things to do any real RPing for a while. smile

Rigga Mortis I have a concept for a science fiction post-apocalyptical setting. Gritty, dangerous sort of wasteland with radiation-mutated ghoulies and whatnot. I could probably have some info together for it fairly quickly if anyone is interested in it. I like the sound of that...

I'm sure we can launch two or three Realms, too, as long as we have the people to back and organize and maintain them, right? :3 Random_Writer ch3mi0n Rigga Mortis I have a concept for a science fiction post-apocalyptical setting. Well, I'll put together some information over the next couple days once my major college project final's wound down somewhat, and I'll PM what I make to you, Mister Writer, for in-put and editing. This guild's so awesome for co-creation. 8D
