your help would be extremely appreciated
p.s. fyi it isn't because i look bad.

rofl I like that you put that it isn't because you look bad. I am the same way actually. I always have been. I think that it is because those certain places are just more comfortable...our family has to love us...no matter what, rofl At school we are subconsciously afraid of what people think. believe me, its true. I could care less what people think, but subconsciously I do still care.

I think that sometimes when we are out of our comfort zone, we tend to behave differently. Just like you may be yourself at home and then you go to your grandmother's house and you behave differently. Its supposed to be about recreating yourself but sometimes it doesnt work. Of course I'm quite at home...at home, but when I'm around other relatives, or in crowds such as supermarkets the old doubts rear their ugly heads so basically its more of a mind set thing, but its also about dealing with people who seem to sap your strength and confidence right from your body just from being around them for more than five minutes.

I think this is a life issues thing so in a couple of days this will be moved there
I don't blame you for keeping quiet and neural at school. Sometimes the less attention a person can draw to themself, the better.
But if you are thinking about trying to be a bit more self expressive, the only thing you can really do is "Go For It!!" You can either start off slow with maybe trying to speak up a bit more or a be more assertive, maybe join some after school clubs if there are any available (if you haven't already). Or go all out and ignore your fears and not worry about the results. Keep in mind though to be smart and safe about what you do.
If you have to see if any of your friends will support your actions. Might offer a bit of a confidence boost if you were not the only one.

yet me, school is excelent. i evn go there on days i do not have school. in my oppinion it is the experience i have there that makes me feel so comfertable being there. if you have bad teachers, or if you were brought up to think that school is a boring, or an un fun place, then that is what it will feel like. everything is what you make of it. my point is that school can be a place of much comfort. it is all about how you think of things. i guess you can say it is creating your own reality. i hope what i said helped. by the way good luck, and i hope you have a great day.
