Plot: The ancient Gods of Olympia that all was fine once the Titans were put in their rightful place. However they did not count on something stronger coming upon the earth. Peace hailed upon earth for thousands of years, time past, technology grew, the world was repborn over and over again. Its now modern day, and the ancient mountain Olympia stands, though almost forgotten. Within eight mortals are born of the unspoken ones, the Ancients, those who came before even the Titans. The Gods now have a problem on their hands. These ones had been locked away for a reason, they had gotten malicious against eachother. Time and Nature had locked them away before destroying themselves into the time stream. Now the true Death, Life, Pain, Healing, Darkness, Light, Good and Evil are now upon the earth and a battle is about to break out between all the gods, for another is released after his betrayal of his king, Zeus. Now Zeus’s granddaughter Alexandra has had twins and it was a prophesied Nature and Time (The only two to be born into gods), only to lose themselves and lose their mother to an ancient evil. Syra (Nature) was thrown into Hell’s jail, as the one who tortured her mother to insanity at the age of six. Time was taken in by the street folk of the mortal world. It is unknown where the other eight are, and a war is brewing on the surface. The mortal god is growing stronger. Can the past of nature’s betrayal be put behind in the final eight? Or does their hurt spring deeper?

Rules
1)This may be a god roleplay but the only things you may GODMODE is your own characters and any people you make up as you run into. NOTHING ELSE.
2)Absolutely no cybering, some romance is ok. However this is a site with young children on it as well, so keep it Pg. 13.
3) You don't have to pm me with your requests to join. Just put a Sample post, if I or The One The Only JD accept you via pm or on the topic then it will be your first post. So make it count.
4)Please only four characters per person max.
5)This is a semi-lit to a lit roleplay so NO NETSPEAK, CHATSPEAK or ASTERICS. Use "These" for talking in character and ((These)) when out of character.
6) Follow Guild and Gaia rules
7)I can and will add more rules when I see fit.

Characters((The Olympian Gods and Goddesses))
Zeus
Zeus overthew his Father Cronus. He then drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and Hades. Zeus won the draw and became the supreme ruler of the gods. He is lord of the sky, the rain god. His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls at those who displease him. He is married to Hera but, is famous for his many affairs. He is also known to punish those that lie or break oaths.
Hades
Hades is the brother of Zeus. After the overthow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Poseidon, another brother, for shares of the world. He had the worst draw and was made lord of the underworld, ruling over the dead. He is a greedy god who is greatly concerned with increasing his subjects. Those whose calling increase the number of dead are seen favorably. The Erinnyes are welcomed guests. He is exceedingly disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave.
He is also the god of wealth, due to the precious metals mined from the earth. He has a helmet that makes him invisable. He rarely leaves the underworld. He is unpitying and terrible, but not capricious. His wife is Persephone whom Hades abducted. He is the King of the dead but, death itself is another god, Thanatos.
Poseidon
Poseidon is the brother of Zeus. After the overthow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Hades, another brother, for shares of the world. His prize was to become lord of the sea. He was widely worshiped by seamen. He married Amphitrite, a granddaughter of the Titon Oceanus
His weapon is a trident, which can shake the earth, and shatter any object. He is second only to Zeus in power amongst the gods. He has a difficult quarrelsome personality. He was greedy. He had a series of disputes with other gods when he tried to take over their cities.
Hera
Hera is Zeus wife. She was raised by the Titans Ocean and Tethys. She is the protector of marrage and takes special care of married women.
Hera's marriage was founded in strife with Zeus and continued in strife. Zeus courted her unsuccesfully. He then turned to trickery, changing himself into disheveled cuckoo. Hera feeling sorry for the bird held it to her breast to warm it. Zues then resumed his normal form and taking advantage of the suprise he gained, raped her. She then married him to cover her shame. She learned to love him however and most stories concerning Hera have to do with her jealous revenge for Zeus's infidelities. Her sacred animals are the cow and the peacock. Her favorite city is Argos.
Ares
Ares is the son of Zeus and Hera. He was disliked by both parents. He is the god of war. He is considered murderous and bloodstained but, also a coward. When caught in an act of adultery with Aphrodite her husband Hephaestus is able publically ridicule him. His bird is the vulture. His animal is the dog.
Athena
Athena is the daughter of Zeus. She sprang full grown in armour from his forehead, thus has no mother. She is fierce and brave in battle but, only wars to defined the state and home from outside enemies. She is the goddess of the city, handicrafts, and agriculture. She invented the bridle, which permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke, the ship, and the chariot. She is the embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity. She was Zeus's favorite child and was allowed to use his weapons including his thunderbolt. Her favorite city is Athens. Her tree is the olive. The owl is her bird. She is a virgin goddess.
Apollo
Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis. He is the god of music, playing a golden lyre. The Archer, far shooting with a silver bow. The god of healing who taught man medicine. The god of light. The god of truth, who can not speak a lie.
One of Apollo's more importaint daily tasks is to harness his chariot with four horses an drive the Sun across the sky.
He is famous for his oracle at Delphi. People travled to it from all over the greek world to devine the future.
His tree was the laurel. The crow his bird. The dolphin his animal.
Artemis
Artemis is the daughter of Zeus and Leto. Her twin brother is Apollo. She is the lady of the wild things. She is the huntsman of the gods. She is the protector of the young. Like Apollo she hunts with silver arrows. She became associated with the moon. She is a virgin goddess, and the goddess of chastity. She also presides over childbirth, which may seem odd for a virgin, but goes back to causing Leto no pain when she was born. She became associated with Hecate. The cypress is her tree. All wild animals are scared to her, especially the deer.
Aphrodite
Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. In addition to her natural gifts she has a magical girdle that compels anyone she wishes to desire her. She is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.She is the wife of Hephaestus. The myrtle is her tree. The dove, the swann, and the sparrow her birds.
Hermes
Hermes is the son of Zeus and Maia. He is Zeus messenger. He is the fastest of the gods. He wears winged sandals, a winged hat, and carries a magic wand. He is the god of thieves and god of commerce. He is the guide for the dead to go to the underworld. He invented the lyre, the pipes, the musical scale, astronomy , weights and measures, boxing, gymnastics, and the care of olive trees.
Hephaestus
Hephaestus is the son of Zeus and Hera. Sometimes it is said that Hera alone produced him and that he has no father. He is the only god to be physically ugly. He is also lame. Accounts as to how he became lame vary. Some say that Hera, upset by having an ugly child, flung him from Mount Olympus into the sea, breaking his legs. Others that he took Hera's side in an arguement with Zeus and Zeus flung him off Mount Olympus. He is the god of fire and the forge. He is the smith and armorer of the gods. He uses a volcano as his forge. He is the patron god of both smiths and weavers. He is kind and peace loving. His wife is Aphrodite. Sometimes his wife is identified as Aglaia.

Sagewort Gaian Name: Sagewort Character Name: Marie-Elizabet de Castui, but she goes by Due. Gender(Sex): Female Age: 17 Appearance: Standing at 5 11" with the build of a natural beauty, Due shouldn't seem like the most conspicuous person out there, but somehow she manages to be quieter and nearly invisible. Her large pale eyes, are always half-hidden by droopy eyelids and thick black eyelashes. As befitting a Frenchwoman, she has long wavy, thick black hair that reaches down to her lowerback, but she keeps it tied back with whatever old stained rags and bits of rope she can find. Instead of glorious elaborate rainments, she wears a baggy pair of guys' jeans, some mismatching socks, and two weather-cracked leather boots. Several shirts and a vest layered over eachother, and many-holed gloves complete the look of her poverty. And although she is homeless and lives on whatever she can find, sleeping where-ever she can, her clothes are mended as best as possible, and clean. The criss-crossing of various scars does nothing to lessen her looks, if only adding character. Personality: She is very extroverted and broadminded. She is slightly pessimistic but can hand out guilt trips like candy. Sometimes her boundless amounts of energy can become overwhelming. But she always knows when to stop, and to become serious. A serious Due is a scary and rare-seen event. Power: Other than being a street-rat, she's really quite ordinary. Erm...she can imitate any kind of bird, but is tone-deaf? History: Grew up a French Lady, got kicked out because of the Evil Stepmother, and has been living on the streets since she was nine. Doesn't hang out with the gangs, but is pretty much free to wander in all their territory. ((And now for the inclusion)) A month ago, a very nice girl with long dark hair (Kyara) gave her a sandwich, and she has been looking out for her, making sure she got to school safe and such. Hecate ((Summer16)):
Hecate was the daughter of the Titan Perses and of Asteria, although sometimes it is said that Zeus himself fathered her, and she is the mother of Scylla. It is thought that she was also known as the dark side of the goddess Artemis. As Artemis represented the splendor of the moon, Hectate represented the darkness of night. She is also know to controll black magic. She has the hounds of hell that follow her everywhere as well.

She hates any people, and tends not to get close to them unless she needs to kill them. God Personality: A trickster at heart, Nature is always found in the form of a child. She loves to play games, and everything is a game to her. She is very much a wild card, and no one knows what she will do next. Powers: She can manipulate anything nature, including metal if no human has tampered with it. She also rules animals and plants. History: Nature was the one that betrayed all the others to time and helped him lock them up, or so they think. Now that Nature has been reborn, it’s been nothing but trouble for Syra from the moment her mother was tortured, to when she was put into prison and tortured for herself. At the age of thirteen nature finally awoke in the child in a violent fashion of burning down the prison. As a young child, he knew little of who he truly was, but discovered a little of his power while trying to run away from thugs. When he was 10, he temporarily froze time so he could get food for his 'family' and the friends that he had made. Of course it was wrong, but he meant well. As he has grown up and matured, he's learned to control his powers better and use them for good. He's learned a lot during his young life and shows to be quite patient. Hecate wandered around Hades realm boredly. It was so boring down here, what with nothing to do. Not that she didn't mind it, she didn't have to put up with those snobs on the Mountain.
"I can't wait till someone can take them down from their little thrones" She muttered darkly, pacing back and forth.
Kyara sighed as she continued to walk down the school path, her books upon her back. Her eyes wandered the empty streets around her, wishing she could make her home real. Wishing she could take that mansion that stood to the far far left of her, and make it hers. She looked at the shacklike building she stood infront of and sighed, her parents were gypsies and so was she. She would never be rich, and she had to accept she was just as everyone else.
Syra walked along the knarled trees. She looked up at the small patches of light that managed to make it into her forest. She was the ruler of this forest now, and not even Greek gods could enter. The animals were her friends, and the ones who pursued her were lost in the snapping bushes that could choke a man to death. She would wait here, and train with the ancient. It seems that though her powers were dormant and she couldn't reach into others minds, she still learned what they did. She had hundreds of decades worth of knowledge, which she was teaching Syra. Including weapons.

Due stood in the shadows, leaning on a fence in the uptight district. Best place to be really, people just went and gave her money in hopes that she would go the hell away. So after a few dollars, she would, although you can bet that the young brunette would be back in a few days for more.
A middle-aged man in a most assuredly expensive suit walked by, with a stick that looked as though it had thorns stuck in a place where the sun don't shine. Due grinned a little before wiping her face clean of her amusement and pasting on one of sickliness. She held out a little wooden bowl with three pennies.
The man looked at her in distaste before sighing and dropping a crisp fiver in the bowl.
Classic.
Somehow the street urchin with the wooden bowl always got them. Mumbling a thanks, Due pocketed the bill, leaving the three small pieces of change in the bowl, then, after a second though she tucked the pennies in a different pocket, put the bowl in a little hip-bag she carried, and began to stroll down the street.
Time to make sure a decent human being wasn't mugged. Or rather, the decent human being, she'd only met one so far.
Cutting through a few side streets, Due made her way out of the buisness district, and towards the houses.
