This thread is for RP occurring in the north swamp. The swamp in a good place to gather herbs found nowhere else.
Thick spanish moss droops from the trees in the swamp. A foul odor rises from the pools of stagnant water, and black sludge coats the ground. But the vegetation is rich and lush, and so it is a perfect place to find those water-loving herbs. A rocky ledge surrounds the low ground starting at the northwest and follows clockwise around to the southeast, seperating the swamp from the sea. The water is not salty.

*A young Fairy Dragon stood on all fours knee deep in the thick swamp mud, his color almost undistunguishable under blotches of brown and green muck. Pausing, he stood up to examine a blob of sludge dripping from his hand. With a frustrated snort he flung it away and went back to digging around at the bottom of the murky water. Clutched in his tail were two relativly clean roots.*
There must be more around here...
*Flame muttered to himself, unclear as to why he ever agreed to help Kismet out with his tonics. It just wasn't fair-- Kismet always got all the attention and the admiration of the others... Granted, he deserved it, but the young red still couldn't keep himself from envying him.*
I've brought you the herbs you needed- even though I had to starve for days and fight off sharks and go through heat and bitter cold...
*He said, standing up and holding out a handful of goo, mimicing himself when he brought back the roots to Kismet.*
"Amazing work, Flame! I don't know how you did it! No other dragon could have possibly have been that smart and strong and brave and intelligent! Especially not me! There was no way I could make the tonics without you! In fact, I'll let you take the credit for my tonics, since you did all the work anyhow!"
*It was a terrible impression of Kismet...but no one was around to hear it anyway, right? Switching back to himself, Flame put an arm around an invisible pair of females.*
Why yes, I do make sure everyone stays healthy around here... I'm pretty irreplaceble, girls... If you'll excuse me for one moment...
*With a sigh, Flame went back to digging through the mire.*

Sunday's first stop rounding up dragons was the swamp, and she nearly missed the not-so-red dragon who was trudging around in the muck.
Landing with a rustle in a mangrove somewhere ahead of Flame, Sunday called out.
"Noble endeavour. I'd noticed the herb stores were wanting."

*Flame looked up a the sound of a real female's voice, his suprised gaze meeting with Sunday. He knew who she was- everyone did- but sort of by osmosis... He'd heard bits and peices of conversation about her, knew where she lived, and seen her about the lairs- but he'd never really interacted with the mysterious golden dragon.
Even more surprising was her comment. It was a few moments before he could figure out how to respond...*
Yeah...and it ain't easy work...
*To say she was beautiful was a grave understatement- but she exuded a strange sort of aura that made even Flame recognize that she didn't want to be messed with.*

"I'd look around the base of trees myself, although the worst snakes seem to like it there." Sunday didn't come down from the tree. The steaming muck wasn't at all inviting. She shifted her wide shoulders back, and there was the sound of muscle popping.
"I'm hoping to have dinner at the beach tonight. This might be the last day of nice weather we'll have." The gold actually waved her tail, her stance a cheerful one, even though her smooth alto never wavered from its usual emotionless tone. "Take a break, if you're able. There's seafood."
Sunday had neglected to mention whether there were others coming, but it didn't cross her mind as she took flight to continue searching.
Next stop: The lair.

*Flame considered Sunday's invitation as the young red watched her fly off... It sounded like an enjoyable break from searching around the swamp- he'd have to get cleaned off first of course...
Shaking his wings, the red took to the sky, inticed by the prospect of good company, weather, and food... Finding more roots could wait...*

The blue landed in the muck, but paid it no mind. He looked around for anything to kill. A small snake appeared, and the blue killed it and tossed the body aside. This was no better.
It was like he was hungry. How could he find what could fill him up?

Woods.  --Continued from Sky Lake --Reaching the edge of the swamp the foul stench of the stagnant water and sludge assails her nose. Surely Pepper wouldn't go here. Who'd want to spend winter in this place. She ponders whether to continue into the heart of the swamp or continue heading towards dead woods.
She'd normally only go here to gather some rare herbs and only if it was really necessary. She's not that fond of the swamp. A bookish type like Pepper maybe would surely hide out in the dead woods instead of here. Think of the damage this place could do to his books.
Her tracking skills as a dragon are horrible she thinks maybe she should have been looking for signs of where he headed instead of guessing.
She skirts along the edge of the swamp heading towards the Dead
