I am watching The Wonderful Horrible Life of Leni Reifenstahl. It is an interesting examination into the Hitler propagandist who maintains throughout that she was just doing it for the work and did not agree with Hitler's views.
She moves from dancer to actress to director to propagandist to war reporter. She is betrayed by telegrams she wrote and diaries she is referenced in. All the while there is a ninety year old woman denying everything.
She was a disturbing, willful, controlling and talented woman.

For her last film, they actually took gypsies out of a concentration camp to be extras for their more mediterranian look.

cool 3nodding it depends on the documentary..it needs to be a topic I'm interested in...for example, I like some ancient history documentaries but some are boring..and I'll watch some Wildlife ones..but my favourite at the moment is called The Power of Art, and it looks at a different artist every week and tells you about their life and work and how it influenced people at the time. This week it'll be Picasso. My favourite one was on Bernini...it was fantastic 3nodding

I'm not a big fan of documentaries but I do watch some if they are about a band or a person that I like.

I like some, but there are just as many, if not more, that I don't like. It helps if it's about something that I'm interested in.
