You may be wondering what's so different about this guild, what this guild is about, and how this guild will work to save the ED, and I hope to be able to answer all your questions in this post.
If there is anything I have failed to address, please send me a PM about it. I have heard about a previous guild that was just like this one, but I am sorry to say that I was not a part of this guild, and that I did not know about it until I had already formed this guild. I want this guild to thrive, and I want it this guild to be special and unique, so please give me any information you can about the previous guild, and we will expand upon the ideas already conceived from the beginning of this guild, and we will expan up on the ideas of that guild. I think that we can learn from past events, and I would like to learn about this other guild in order to know how to make this guild thrive.

• This guild was formed with unity in mind.
  ♥ I believe that many people who post in the ED do not like the constant spam it has been receiving. I have witnessed people start guilds to escape the spam of ED, people making petitions in the ED, people constantly complaining about the state of the ED, and people constantly posting in threads that do not belong in the ED about how much these threads suck. These people are spread across the main ED forum and all of it's subforums. The ideas they express get seen in the threads they express them in, and most of the time other people from other forums do not see these ideas. There are also times when a guild will be created and not enough people will join and post, and the guild will slow down or die, or other people looking for a refuge from the spam may never even know about the guild's existence because of a lack of communication and unity through ED as a whole. I have also seen this happen with petitions. Seeing these things happen numerous times has been truely disheartening to me, and that is why I am commited to putting a stop to it.
  
  ♥ I want this guild to unite people who are connected through a common wish. The thing that unites us all here, whether we post in different forums or disagree on a great number of issues, is that we all are tired of seeing the rules constantly broken and ignored. I believe that by being united we can all inspire each other. I believe that our petitions will go farther by being signed more, recognized more, and supported more. I believe that we will be able to come up with new ideas and with the more people looking at our ideas that we will together be able to come up with efficient plans and ways that the ED can be cleaned up. I believe that we can help and support each other more than we could've ever imagined before through unity. I believe that we will be able to make more progress than ever before through unity. United we will save the Extended Discussion Forum.
  
  
  
• This guild will be an active guild and it was not formed to be a guild to escape the ED.
  ♥ I truely believe that one of the keys to a successful guild is good communication between everyone. I want each individual's needs in this guild to be met. Spelling issues? Call on me. Issues with another member? Call on me. Suggestions for the guild? Call on me. Just need someone to talk to? Call on me. I am here to serve. I do not want the unity of this guild to be broken on account of bad communication. I promise that I will notify you if any thread or post of yours gets edited or deleted, and I promise to be there for anyone who needs me. I cannot run this guild on my own. Consider yourselves moderators through me. Want the homepage to look more eye-catching? Tell me your suggestions! Want a new sticky? Tell me your suggestions! Whatever ideas you have send them to me! I want this guild to continually grow. If changes are needed, then we'll change a bit to suit everyone's needs. I want everyone to love this guild, to be comfortable in this guild, and to be active in this guild. I may be the owner, but this is not really my guild, it's our guild. Let's always keep the lines of communication open!
  
  ♥ This guild's purpose first and foremost will always be to be a united place to save the ED. The main forum will be specifically for this purpose. This guild is not intended to replace any of the current refuges from the spam. This does not mean that I am unwilling to make a subforum for other discussion if people want one. I think that a subforum for other discussion will be good for each of us to get to know each other better and I think it will encourage our unity amongst one another. I will make a two day long poll, and if in two days the number of yes votes exceeds the number of no votes, I will make another subforum for plain discussion. If you vote no on the poll, please PM me and tell me why you reject this idea.
