A long time ago in the lands of Shiet, dragons walked the earth proudly. Intelligent creatures of much grace, dragons existed even before humans did. But eventually, Shiet delved into chaos when a large war occured and the blame was placed on the dragons themselves. Taken by surprise, the dragons were attacked and killed by countrymen who were led to believe the war was the cause of dragons. The terrible conflict between dragons and humans finally ended when the countrymen discovered a weapon dragons feared... a special stone called a Star Drop.
Many years have passed since then... The conflict is behind everyone now and all is at peace... Or is it? Actually, there's a problem. Five people have been chosen by the remaining dragon's to be the host of their power meaning they can turn into a dragon and read dragon script but slowly lose themselves. And at the core of it... All the answers appear to lie with the Great Blue, a beautiful dragon said to be the keeper of answers and leader of the dragons.

This is one of my first RPs, The Dragon's Gift!^^ Now to be a part of this, simply fill out this form and post it in this thread. This is a fantasy RP. Once I OK it, you can officially start! (Username, Name and Age are self-explanatory. Talents means things your character can do like cook or wield a sword. Race is what type of race your character is. If they're one of the dragon hosts, please say so. Appearance is appearance. You could give a picture or just describe them. And Background is describing all about your charcter. Appearance: A short girl with long blonde hair and a red hairband. Brown eyes, a little pale and quite pretty in the face. She wears fine clothes, a closed blue waistcoat with a white jumper underneath. A white skirt to match, black leggings and knee-high leather boots. A nice brown color.
Background: Marisa (who likes to be known as Mari) has always been the youngest and most ignored in her family. She tends to overwork herself in order to get people to notice her over her brother. Naive, ambitious and very eager to learn from others, Mari doesn't have much of a social life because of how long she's been training with her rapier so she can be a bit shy sometimes. Her fine clothing strong voice and rapier skills usually cover up how old she is. She's currently searching for her big brother who left home mysteriously a few days ago. Her brother Clayne is a Dragon Host so she's also looking for any clues to regarding that be it Dragon Hosts, The Great Blue or anything else. Mari also has a problem with people underestimating her or taking her lightly because of her age, size of gender.

Appearance: He looks younger than his age. He has blone hair with two black bits that come round his cheeks. A dark red cape lined with fur at the bottom and a generic combo of white tunic and black leggings. His hands are almost always covered by large red gloves. The emblem on his cape is a hawk-shaped crest, his heirloom.
Background: Jennis is a up-and-coming mercenary learning all the tricks from his friends there. A formidiable archer and a stunning tracker leads most around him to think he was a woodlander (someone who came from the woods) when in actuality he is from a very hot climate far away nicknamed the Summerlands. Jennis' mother was an Preyter, i.e. a bird person (kinda looking like a harpy) but became disappointed when Jennis only gained talons for his feet and hands and not wings. Jennis set out to prove himself worthy of his family and has now wound up looking for Marisa. A plucky but modest youth with a bit of a fiery temper, he is called Jen by his friends.

Appearance:
Background: Joseph is a knight of New Germany. He has been trained most of life for combat and takes great pride in what he does. His grandfather was a great war hero, but he was rediculed and stripped of his title for his protests against the campaigns against the dragons. This caused Joseph to grow up in constant shame, until he himsef was given a chance to reclaim his family's honor as a knight in the king's service. Joseph is the third youngest knight to have ever served, his grndfather being the second and the great hero Ashnard, Patron Saint of New Germany being the first. Recently, his twin sister Karin,(see picture), discovered that she was a Dragon Host and left to find answers to the questions revolving around her new powers. Joseph imeadiatly set out to find his sister, but has only her necklace locket which she left as a cryptic clue. Now, Joseph searches for hs sister when he realizes that he is being affected by his twin sister's tranformation as well.

Talents: Is very charismatic when she wants to be. She has many of the same skills as Joseph since they were both trained a knights together but he is far more a physical fighter while she is more grounded in magic.
Apperance:
Background: Andriea is the granddauther of Karl Zentrirt, another great hero of New Germany. Her grandfather was the opisite of Joseph's grandfather in everyway. He hated the Dragons and gained much fame for his conquest against them. Andriea is one of the few female knights in exsistence because most female soldiers are riders and lance soldiers. Though she pretends to be his rival, Andriea secretly has a major crush on Joseph. Her sword is called Zauberei, which literaly translates into "Sorcery" and explains why she is so good at magic.

Race: What-ever she is, she has long, elven-like ears and dark skin
Talents: Steath, such as prowling in the shadows, finding shelter in the wild, communicating with animals
Appearance: She is tanned, rather tall for her age, and also rather slim. She wears a shirt that's composed of a long, thick, pink cloth that wraps around her chest, and a large, thick, black belt that covers most of her waist. She wears elbow-length gloves, that are lime green with black straps and buckles on it, along with holes running down the side that shows her skin underneath it. She wears knee-length pants, limegreen in color, with thick pink stripes on the bottom of them. Her boots are black and reach up to her ankles. Written on her back is the her name is Kanji in black. Around her neck is a thick black peice of leather, with a silver pendant attached to it. Her eyes are deep red, and her hair bright pink. Her hair falls down her her shoulderblades then curls slightly, and her bangs hang over the sides of her face and a few strands fall into her eyes
Background: Eien is a very enigmatic character, she is. Raised on a small farm on the outskirts of a small town that lies close to the coast. Her parents loved her very much, yes, until one day they had killed her pony, cat, and chickens. There was rumour that a disease that infected animals had been going around, yet she heard too late. She had already ran away at the age of 12. After 2 years, she came apon a camp of mercenaries she came to call 'family'.

Talents: She can pick locks and things. Her talent is using small daggers that she uses to pierce pressure points, sometimes resulting in a direct KO [But rarely]
Appearance: A five foot tall girl with long blood colored hair. Her hair is parted more to the left then the right, kinda covering her eye. Her eye color is mint green with blue speckles. Her skin color is semi-pale from the lack of sunlight. She has on a shirt that has a small armor like plate buckled to her left shoulder where there is a shoulder guard. Her shirt is made from two parts of cloth wrapped around her waist that hangs down to the middle of her thigh. She wears a cloak that covers her chin a little. She ties her hair in a low ponytail so that it trails down her back. Underneath her shirt, she has on capris that have various pockets and such on them. Her boots reach up to the middle of her legs and has buckles and frayed ribbons on to them. On her waist is two belts, one that holds up her pants, and the other holds her weapons.
Background: Shiori, or "Shio" is a very tomboyish girl. Her mother had left her for another man, leaving her with her father. Her father, not knowing much about raising girls, raised her like a boy. She is skilled at hunting and can live by herself with no problem. Her father wept when she asked him if she can leave to "explore the unknown". She likes to hang out in bars and gamble, a small "Unknown" that she discovered, but she seems to be ignored by Lady Luck. Her fancy name came from her mother who was from a rich family.

Talents: Magic, great cook. Can do a little hand-to-hand, but not great. He also has a small dimensional portal where he stores infinite amounts of items.

Background: Coming from the Arcadian mountains to the west, Wes is mysterious. He has only come out in the last year or so, and nobody really knows him. He's mysterious, but is also funloving. He is incredibly fond of gambling, having a close relationship with Lady Luck herself. He never uses his magic to cheat, feeling it to be in bad sport. But, he will put aside his fun if he's needed. Hearing of the dragon hosts, he goes to find and travel with them. He seems to know something about them, but how he does is not yet certain...
