I think it just came out, but anyways, what do you guys think of the video? It certainly has such a lovely enchanted feel to it. White forest scenery was grogeous.

However, I was surprised about the fact there was another underwater scene (as I recall, there was a sort of similar one for Going Under). It felt slightly... well, repeated to me.

Also, any guesses at the meaning of the video? I suppose it could be in relation to the song and its words, but I'm more looking foward to your interpretations of what's going on in the actual video.

Eep, I'm sorry, I completely missed the other thread. @__@;;

That's ok. xD
It wasn't asking your opinion on the other thread, so technically this one's different. :3
I could see a bit of all of their videos in it, except maybe Everybody's Fool.
I mean, her lying on the bed being Bring Me To Life, Amy running her foot over the water being My Immortal, and as you said, the underwater scene being Going Under. :3
But it's still a beautiful video. <333!
I think they did a very good job. <3

Wow. That is pretty awesome. A little boring, but it totally works.

When I heard this song, I imagined for blues. But love the snow. ^^

Wow, I totally missed that! Too busy listening to TOD and Origin, which I got for my birthday xd

Anyway...

I was really surprised that it was Lithium--frankly I had expected Lacrymosa, since it kinda was made out to embody TOD. Or even Snow White Queen. Lithium was the LAST song I expected.
I do agree with the repetivtive images...and is it just me, or does Amy look like she's on Botox on the close-ups (not on the bed)?

I dunno...the last bit almost has the idea of suicide behind it...it's kind of weird. I expect it to grow on me, though.

idk if you guys know this but Amy said Call me when you're sober is an abstract take on literal lyrics whereas Lithium is a literal take on abstract lyrics.

aka, the lighter, purer figure who wants to let go of her pain, to find release, and the other who wants to keep her anguish, to remain dark and brooding i suppose...

there are definitely elements of the Fallen videos in it, but maybe even the re-use is symbolic, like the band want to keep their old style but bring something new to them...i dont know, that could just be me clutching at straws...

I think in the closeup shots (when she is in the tunnel of trees and she changes) she is supposed to look "botoxed" because that is the darker, more sinister her....
