Hey one and all. This is the new "Evanescence Diary". When I get some more time, I'm going to make it all pretty and special and sparkly and pretty.....
*Ahem*
But yeah. The purpose of this diary is just like that of the Captain's Diary, to let you members know of news regarding the band. Instead of making new threads all the time, we'll post it up here. Also, if your gone for a month, it'll be easy to come back and see what's been going on.
The updates will contain anything from new singles, to a new band member, to even a show being cancelled. So check it out, and feel free to pm me if you have some news that you think should be posted here. (please do not post here yourself.)

November 29th
A few things of news from the past couple days!
Lithium Video - The lithium video has been officially posted on the evanescence website, and at lauch.yahoo.com (canada) for all of you who were waiting until it was official. So go check it out!

John LeCompt, Father Again - John and his wife had another child a few days ago. They are the proud parents of a baby boy! They're all doing great and the band hopes that they can reschedule the Manchester show that they had to cancel so John could be there for the birth of his son
Tour - So the first leg of the tour has ended! Just in time for the christmas holidays! The second part of the tour starts up the first week of january! Hope you guys get out to see some shows!
Ecotone Rumour - The song title 'Ecotone' was posted on the internet to be an unreleased track that was going to be released on the Lithium Singles. This was said to the the narnia track as Ecotone is a place where two ecozones come together (as in narnia.) Amy has confirmed however, that this is a rumour and that there is no Ecotone.

New Pictures In Ev Gallery - New pictures have been added to the evanescence official website. They have added screen caps from both Call Me When Your Sober and Lithium. You can check it out here
New Yahoo Lauch! Performance - similar to the AOL sessions and the Pepsi Smash performances. For songs performed with Amy on piano, John LeCompts on acoustic guitar, and a non-band member on the cello

December 4th
Amy posts on both Evthreads and the EvFanClub about the new single Lithium. Her posts:
Evthreads: Ok. Mtv now has the lithium video, but they are mad at windup right now for being windumb. Vote the crap out of lithium and hopefully their anger will melt away, as the Christmas spirit overwhelms them and they have to give in to you. ROCK IS NOT DEAD. (its just really really sick)

EvFanClub: Hey everybody! I just wanted to say hi now that I'm home. The tour was awesome- thank you guys for all the gifts, letters, and rabid screaming encouragement. Its good to be home though. I know alot of you have been voting for the lithum video on mtv, and I love you for that (feels like we have minions). Keep it up, they have it now, but it will really help the more you all vote for it and ask for it- our label really messed up the release so the only country its not playing in is the US! (which is really sad considering WE LIVE HERE) We can use all the help we can get so keep bugging them! Strength in numbers! I love you guys. See you soon.

The Black Maria Added To Canadian Tour
I know I'm a little late on the news, I've been REALLY busy lately. Anyways, the Canadian band 'The Black Maria' has been added to the opening (along with Stone Sour) of the Canadian Leg of the tour. So enjoy for all those attending a canadian show! (like manda and I!)

Amy's Engagement
While amy was in Toronto for the show at the ACC (which you captains manda and I attended) on monday, Amy Lee's boyfriend Josh proposed to her. Amy Lee accepted his proposal and said that did it old fashion and got down on one knee!
