I used to do Tai Kwan Do, but was never any good at it. I only managed to get up to orange belt before I gave up.

I use to take Judo in Highschool and had just gotten my Orange belt when my instructor moved away. There was another instructor in my area that I had met on occasion when our 2 dojos got together, but he wasn't as friendly, so I never continued.

I had Taken Ju-Jitsu for a little under a year and acheived a High-blue belt degree.

My instructor became married to another woman, and she hooked up her friend with my older sister. my sister and the other guy broke up, then my instructor and his wife took their friends side. A feud ensued, and my family got involved, so i had to quit.

They were nice people, and i wasnt realy involved in it (*nor did i care) but it wasnt fun anymore anyway (my father joined, and put me through hell, and pressure).

I acheived orange belt in Judo, and yellow belt in Tae-kwon-do. Even participated in a couple entry-level tournaments. Wasn't half-bad either. Probably woulda gone pretty far if I hadn't quit. I just didn't get it. I could do the moves and everything, but that's all it was to me. I never much liked far-eastern philosophy. It's most basic principles were utterly incompatible with my own.

I've done a few different things here and there but never with a group so I never really got belts. I do however practice fencing and Tai Chi. I've done strip fencing for about two years (on and off due to knee problems).

I have plenty of injuries, but I still hope to learn martial arts one of these days, perhaps thai chi or kendo.

I took a self defense class when I was younger and I made it up to the green belt. We held tournaments and I was in two, I earned a third place then a first place trophy smile
