Quote: It's tech prowess meets undead mayhem! In this tale of carnage from the Eisner Award-nominated team of artist Ashley Wood (Popbot) and writer Chris Ryall (The Great and Secret Show). A post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies has only one chance at recovery — a team of robots that must protect and clone a lone surviving human baby. They just need to do this amidst the endless hordes of zombies who have been driven rabid by their frustration at inedible bots and their lust to eat the one living brain left on the planet. http://www.idwpublishing.com/titles/zombies-vs-robots.shtml

The scenario is alot more interesting then you'd think. It takes place in a future where humanity has been wiped out by the zombie plague that took over the world. All that's left of mankind are ruins, the highly advanced robots that were created to serve and defend mankind, and one tiny human infant.
The robots are working hard at both caring for and defending the infant and developing tech that will allow them to clone the infant, in hopes of ensuring the survival of mankind.
Zombies, of course, roam around, just.....effin' around pretty much, with the robots making sure they come NOWHERE near the infant. In this setting, zombies have something of a hive mental link: if any of them detect the infant, ALL the zombies will know where it is.
Two very bad scenarios are set up by the end of the first issue: of course, some zombies come across the infant.
The other.....well, I won't spoil it for ya..... domokun
