I don't think I am. Although, having one would make PSU run smoother I think I'm gonna wait to buy it in case there are any bugs that need to be figured out.

I own a PS3. I can safely say that I've experienced no problems with it yet, although it doesn't make PSU run any smoother... People do load faster, though.
And imho, PS3 is worth $600. It does everything you could want it to do and more, in addition to it being a cheaper alternative to a Blu-Ray player (Which WILL win the format war... Disney and porn are already supporting Blu-Ray exclusively). I plugged my keyboard and mouse into it and started surfing the net... In fact, that's where I'm posting from right now- My PS3. I'm also watching videos on youtube as we speak, and I'm about to turn youtube off so I can listen to my own music while I surf. The controllers are light and don't use double-As. Instead, they are rechargeable through USB ports. I could care less if there's no rumble. In fact, I couldn't be happier, because I personally despise the rumble in controllers.
The only things it can't do that I wish it could is navigate like a Windows OS and play music during games. If it could do those two things, then my god I would just sell my computer and buy an HD TV.
Another thing is when you aren't using a HDTV, the internet surfing looks really fussy, and there are corners cut off of pics and stuff because it want to use the full power of the TV. And there is that whole "you can't do stuff while crap is downloading".
I'm very lucky to have gotten one and I thank my brother every day for the awesome X-Mas present. I got the "value pack" that was sold at the computer store, Fry's electronic, so it came with 6 games. I've bought one new one since then, making my library consist of the following games:
Resistance: Fall of Man Sonic the Hedgehog Call of Duty 3 Tony Hawk Project 8 Genji: Days of the Blade Gundam Crossfire Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom
If you guys have any questions about the PS3, feel free to ask me.
