Yeah, I hate English classes... they just seem to get worse and worse as I get older. I don't like to read, and I'm terrible at writing essays so basically all of that class is ruined for me. Does anyone else hate English?
Why am I ranting on this particular day? I have to write a Hamlet paper tonight and I really really don't want to. Technically, I haven't actually read the play so that's going to make it even harder. Shakespeare makes me angry so I only read the booknotes, but today my teacher said we have to use quotes in our paper. Ugh.... kill me...

cant help ya. i love reading and shakespeare. and i enjoyed hamlet. although its no macbeth. my favorite shakespeare play is twelth night though. its a really fun play. that movie shes the man is retelling of the story just like 10 things i hate about you was taming of the shrew. haha
shakespeare = teen movies
you sould give shakespeare a chance. when you get into all the interpritations it can be interesting. unfortunatly i have rarely seen his plays performed well. i always end up seeing shitty "omg we are so artsy" productions of them where they dont use things like probs...or backrounds....or acting skills.

I just get frustrated easily when I read Shakespeare because I don't understand the Old English stuff. It takes me forever just to get through a few sentences. The story itself is interesting, but I don't think we were given enough time to read the text. My teacher asked us to read one act each night, which takes FOREVER if you suck at Shakespeare. That's my main problem, not that I don't like the stories...
