Great game, tons of fun and even converted some dbz hater friends while playing this game. I'm glad someone said "Supersonic Warriors would work so well in 3D" and atari not only listened but gave them time to make the game.

Second best DBZ game on PS2, IMO, after BT2. I loved being able to fly around in a 3D environment during battle for the first time and I also liked to be able to start at a certain transformation. Althouh, I didn't like the lack of in-game transformations and the lack of an item shop. Other than those I loved it, especially ultimate battle mode.

Actually I would have to say the opposite of you, Light Mage.

I actually didn't like the fact that you started on certain levels becaused I liked the option of being able to transform when needed.

And the lack of the item shop is probably attributed to the fact that you don't have to earn any moves and you start out with all of them. The most you could do with customization is Evolution Z.

Anyway, I honestly still have some work to do in completely cleaning up this game. I have yet to unlock the Oozaru and Tao Pai Pai so I better get a move on that soon. sweatdrop

Also, in my opinon this game plays a lot like Super Boutoden in the way that you have free flight and the fighting screen (well the vs. screen anyway) is split down the middle and you only basically see your charries half. I'm thankful that I played that game before this one so I could understand what is going on. 3nodding

It's a good game, it could use some improvements like with music and voice overs. The ability to expirience full control of your flight is ok. But it's combat is a bit to simple. I could simply blast volleys of energy attacks from far away, power up and keep doing it as long as I have my opponet targeted.

Not in the second one, because you can manipulate your dragon dashes much better and move around energy blasts.

More defensive meneavours? That's a good improvement.

Yeah, but some attacks were improved to counter them. The rapid energy blasts are almost impossible to dodge without a dragon dash. Even the CPU gets hit by them on the highest level.

I've always had trouble dodging those. The one attack I can never dodge is Super 17's Finishing move. (I forgot the name, the constant gunfire move)

that move is hard to dodge, there is also janemba's needles.

The good thing about Janemba's Light Shower attack is that it doesn't last as long as Super 17's. Super 17's move inflicts 50 hits.

indeed, but for the most part there is a way out of getting hit in t2 now so it balances it up a bit.

Instead of sidestepping, I've thought of "rolling" would be a quicker way for evading and with more distance.

I really liked this game at first, the only things that really bugged me was the fact that it didn't have in game transformations, that and the story mode sucked. I just didn't see why they didn't do one like B1

Actually, the story mode isn't that bad. I think the only thing that annoys me is finding the Dragonballs while fighting. That's a pain in the butt. But I then realized that it's a lot easier to gather the Dragonballs in the level where Chiaotzu and Tien are trainning on the lookout since it's a lot easier. 3nodding
