Technically, anything that's animated (yes, even CG) is called ANIME in Japan so... yeah, Avatar is an anime.

It's pretty awesome for a show on Nick. biggrin I like how they use different cultures from the world in the four nations.

About that copyright thing... Yeah, a bit ago Viacom sued Youtube because people were posting videos of copyrighted material, such as clips from "The Daily Show" or "The Colbert Report". Since then, Youtube has become much more strict with respecting copyright laws, causing many people to mostly abandon Youtube for other sites, the most popular alternative being a site called Dailymotion. Can't guarentee that it'll have the show you're looking for, but it's worth a shot.

As for Avatar... I'm not such a huge fan. In my mind, Avatar has a decent concept. But to me, the experience is soured by Aang himself. I find him annoying and irritating to a huge degree.

>> I must admit though, I do have respect for a select few characters:

Toph (sp?): Anybody who uppercuts Aang with a rock is okay in my books.

Appa: He's a ten-ton flying bison. What's not to love?!

Iroh: Even from the start I enjoyed Iroh's sense of humor and his easygoing attitude. After learning how badass he is, well, that only sweetened the deal for me!

Its not technically an Anime, because its not technically made in Japan. I've heard that somewhere, but I don't fully agree with it in certain cases.

But its interesting because of the new 'Avatar Movie', which is rumored that M. Night Shamalan is the director. Which I think is a bad choice... because its a Kids Show... and M. Night is more like Suspense horror, or even just Suspense Director.
