Okey dokey, well, the title of the forum kinda makes no sense, but, does anyone think that the end of Whisper of the Heart was a little abrupt?
I mean, their just talking and stuff, then he asks her to marry him (which is weird, cause they aren't in high school yet) and that's it!

It was rather touching...in a way, but it still went very quickly compared to the rest of the film. Just my opinion.

It WAS rather abrupt but it was still a very good movie and did you know that hayao made saiji ask shizuku to marry him because he said that there was too much uncertainty in relationships today. its too much of"Ok lets go out and see what happens." He wan't closure in the story. I like what he did though
