“Welcome to Kyushu Hidden Magic Academy! This school of hard training will focus on the mind, body, and spirit. If you can’t handle it and feel that you are not up for the challenge, then leave!” The combat teacher looked down at the groups of students. They stayed in place; none of them willing to move. “I see you have strong wills, but would that be enough?” She laughed. “Many students came here feeling just like you…ready for anything and ended up dead in the process.” The groups of noobs gasped. “If you don’t want to die such an early death, then follow the rules. If you can do that then you have nothing to worry about.” She looked down at the noobs and smiled. “Now let’s go back on key.” She cleared her voice and pointed at the board before reading aloud.
“Mind: We’ll be working on your mind because most spells relay on the strength of your mind and not on how much spirit energy you have. These spells for the mind are also known as physic spells. A weak mind gets you nowhere!” The noobs nodded their heads.
“Body: There are enemies that are resistant to spells so you are left with one thing….the body. Having your body at its fill potential is also very important. Using chi in your attacks makes the damage higher. Chi is not spirit energy. It comes from your physical body. The stronger your body becomes the more chi you’ll have.” Most of the noobs smiled while some simply nodded.
“Spirit: A powerful spirit is very important. If your spirit is weak and you use such a powerful spell that takes up more the half of your spirit energy, then you might die. This is the hardest level to work on. The mind and spirit are strongly connected. If your mind is weak don’t expect yourself to become fully in tuned with your spirit. A mind that has full understanding can only expect for their spirit to become wiser and stronger. Do you understand!?” She said sharply. The noobs stood straight up and nodded. “Good, now I want you to explore the academy but make sure you are ALWAYS with someone. Plus classes will be starting in a few weeks so enjoy your time while it last.” The noobs did not understand but nodded. She smiled. “Good luck.” She whispered.
Cecurber A. Valdes walked into the room after the new students’ departure. “Lotte.” She stood up straight and faced her superior. “Yes madam?” She said after bowing slightly. “It’s getting worse. More students are appearing dead, so please hurry and solve this mystery.” Lotte nodded. “Who knows? You might be able to connect the recent murders to your grandfather.” She said become leaving. “Indeed.” Valdes whispered.
