Wilbert what type of rock are they? contemporary i think. last fm described them as contemporary. im not too sure what type they are though...rock in general to me.

The Frogstomp album was okay.
Other than that, I never really cared for them.

These Apes Are Zombies! The Frogstomp album was okay. Other than that, I never really cared for them. me neither. i like some of their songs, but not all of them.

I'd say their contemporary with some grunge influences.
Not my favourite band, but I did go through a bit of a phase in ninth grade.

I. Love. Silverchair.
I honestly liked each new album better than the last. Well...Neon Ballroom and Diorama are pretty much equal, but still..Frogstomp, I think they just didn't have enough personal stuff to draw on so the message was, to me, just not passionate. Freak Show improved that aspect a bit (and, of course, they improved musically as any band should). Neon Ballroom was just this intense outpour of emotion, it's beautiful, and Diorama is lovely in every way possible.
It's kind of wierd that Diorama was released in America just a few years before music like that became really popular (a more acoustic, laid back sort of sound). Sales weren't good at all here for that album..=/ But I still love it~!
I haven't had a chance to go through their newest stuff yet, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Straight Lines sounded pretty good, from the little clip I heard of it (passing through as my sister listened to it).
Anyways, I'm pumped about the new album, I just need to get it...XD
