I didn't see a thread here about this, but I'm sorry if it's a repeat ^^;
Anyway, I'm wondering if you guys prefer the grayish-blue eyes like we see in the manga or the brown from the anime version for Kagome? I first saw the anime version of Inuyasha so I never really noticed her eyes. Then I started not really liking the anime and I heard that the manga was so much better so I read it. I was a little fascinated when I saw that her eyes weren't brown. I had seen it in various fanfics where her eyes were blue, but I never really thought too much on it. After I read the manga though, it made sense to me. ^^
I much prefer the blue eyes because they're different and it makes Kagome more unique, I think. In fact, I like the manga version of her a lot more and sometimes I drives me crazy when I see fanart or read fanfiction where she has the brown eyes and when you mention something to the person they're like "OMGWTF are u talking about/!!?1!her eyes are brown!!1!!" or the opposite - someone saying that about fanart or fanfiction where her eyes are depicted as being blue. Please, read the manga =_=; But what about you guys? Do you prefer the brown or the blue? and do you prefer her manga version or her anime version more?

I dunno....I'm just so used to Kagome having brown eyes. And its just...yeah.
But I'd like her to be different from Kikyo *twitch* in eye color so blue is alot prettier. *i say this because I have blue eyes!* =]

I like them either way. Though I made my avatar after her and the eyes I have are tinted bluish. Anyhow, just thought I'd throw my two cents in. *smiles*

I only watched hte anime version on tv i never read the mangas but when i was on fanfiction and they were talking about her eyes being bluish i was like wtf?
So i just figured people liked to giver her diff. colors eyes. heck even I do it now

Takahashi-sensei's coloring isn't 100% consistent. Sometimes you'd see characters with a different shade of hair/eye color. As much as I'd like to say I agree with her eyes looking nicer and more unique blue-grey, I can't say that I'm against her eyes being brown. I like them either way.
I guess since her eyes would change different shades in the manga they settled for brown. Seeing as that's a very common eye-color in Japan and they were aiming for a 'normal junior high girl'.
