herm....well we don't have a scanner, but we do have a printer and a scanner combined 3nodding
it is an epson
but my daddy prolly spent a lot on it because it is his little toy sweatdrop

I think a digital camera would be cheaper in the long run. After all, taking film pictures to scan over and over will outweigh the cost of a digital that uploads images of work directly onto the computer. Except with drawings/paintings. That is usually better with a scanner. Anyways, my suggestion is to check BestBuy for some good deals. Epson is usually a reliable scanner, usually.

Try and find a store that offers a package... sometimes you can get a scanner/printer that comes with a camera and a program disc etc all in one buy, in the long run that really is cheaper buying it all at once... I have a scanner/printer that came with my computer... I bought a package blaugh
I'm really glad... it's a nice scanner, photo quality too.... unfortunately my package (since it came with other things) did not have a camera included, but I do know that places have package offers like that, often they let you mix brandnames too.

Go to Wal mart or Target (if you have one where you live)
