 Ok Logic: Here we Go: Now, everyone trips over themselves with their LOVE of NaruHina. Not only do I ask WHY, I ask "What about couples where Hinata actually has a chance of being happy?":Why I don't like NaruHina:
I'll make it fast; Naruto doesn't notice her. She isn't anything important or special to him. Hinata tries and tries in vain to get his attention, but to no avail. Yes, this crush has helped her grow, but as a COUPLE it would be very dysfunctional.
Think about it: Here you are, this shy little girl trying to date someone LOUD and over powering. Opposites attract? Mix Milk and range Juice and tell me how that goes.The only couples that I LIKE Hinata as a part of are SasuHina and NejiHina in arranged marriages. :Why?:
SasuHina is of course pretty much crack. Take in mind, they are both from Noble families, there for it would be possible. Though looking at the story NOW, it's pretty much NOT gonna happen. But it's not uncommon for cousins if prestigious families to intermarry. The Hyuuga's OBVIOUSLY do it. And Neji did say she was cute. (I love that flash back)
I can say it's pretty obvious that SasuHina won't happen. But I'm holding out for NejiHina. I think they should become canon somehow..and as far as we know, Hyuuga's don't marry outside the family. So, it makes a lot of sense.
But yes, SasuHina is very crack ,but at the same time, rather cute. Their personalities sort of lend to a quiet, peaceful home life.
But NejiHina just makes it so logical. Who else would her parents allow her to marry? And Neji wants to be part of the main branch right? Well, that's the only way to get that done. And his children would be main branch then too.
And they have MUCH more chemistry than NaruHina if you think about it. Naruto over shadows Hinata. He eclipses her. She would never have a chance to shine that way. He would just run everything in his loud naive way.
Neji (or even Sasuke really, before he went all nuts) are quieter. They would balance out Hinata better. Give her some room to breath. Some room just to be herself. Not over power her.
And he did say she was cute. ^-^
When I think of NaruHina, I just think of Hinata blushing, and stumbling over herself. Naruto being loud and oblivious to her.
She would have more peace with them, you're right. And with a shy girl like Hinata, she really does need peace.

I'm not going to be delusional and say that Naruto has feelings for Hinata because that's not true, so? I can say the same thing for your SasuHina. You're not going to see a lot of romance in a shonen manga to begin with, Kishimoto to put requited feelings, with a girl like Hinata, would have to put romance, which is not where he's at.
Its true that Naruto was loud and overpowering in Part1. Its not the same anymore, yes he's still Naruto, but he's not an ADHD 12 year old anymore, he's more mature and I can tell you he's not like he used to be either, he's older now.
And about opposites-attract, guess what? Its quite true, I won't say that all couples are opposites, but I can tell you that the happiest couples I've met are the ones that were opposites.
I'm sorry, but incest isn't acceptable in the world for a reason. Either way, the Hyuuga clan may practice incest once in a while and its true that incest practiced in a family many times, does in fact lead to defects, let's look what happened to the Habspurgs, marriage back then was considered to be a way to getting "at the top" of the social pyramid. It's also VERY possible for Neji to fall in love with Hinata. She is the kind of girl who'd be able to understand his feelings, and love him back.
Kiba would also probably fall in love with her, if given the chance. I'll bet Sai would too.

Hinata's feeling for him are real, she most definatly has a big crush on him, but you'd think Kishimoto already has the ending planned out (he does, really) and that if he TRUTHFULLY wanted NaruHina to happen, he wouldn't have made Sakura's crush on Naruto so obvious, right?
I'm not saying NaruHina can't happen - I never said that, and I never will, unless it becomes completely obvious.
I just think NaruSaku and NejiHina are more likely. *shrugs* That's just mu opinion, and I'll support it to no ends. NO ONE can turn me NaruHina. Never.

Well, in Japan blood means a VERY strong connection between people. Its not symbolism used to toy around with.
So far there is absolutely no confirmation on Sakura having a crush on Naruto, there is that she's gotten away from the idea of being wishing to be romantically involved with Sasuke, but nothing particular towards Naruto. What Yamato said in 297 could have easily meant something else and people jumped too fast to conclusions. Hinata's feelings however, have not changed, and I don't think Kishimoto put her on the cover of that particular chapter based on coincidence.
I'm not trying to convert you.
EDIT: You say you don't like crush pairings but you still like NaruSaku which would fit into that category. confused

And NaruHina is not the same as SasuSaku (-gags at the idea of SasuSaku- >_<), the reason why? Well, while everybody was obsessing over Sasuke and spitting on Naruto Hinata was there for him, she could have chosen bad-a** Sasuke like all the other girls but no, she chose Naruto.
Don't get me started on how NaruHina is undeveloped either, because its not. Naruto does acknowledge Hinata, and I'll give you some manga scans on that;

Okay, I never said that Naruto doesn't acknowledge Hinata - because he most certainly does. But I can't see him liking her as MORE OF A FRIEND. She is barely even a GIRL to him, besides the shyness and the crush that he is COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS TO.
Hinata's feeling for him are real, she most definatly has a big crush on him, but you'd think Kishimoto already has the ending planned out (he does, really) and that if he TRUTHFULLY wanted NaruHina to happen, he wouldn't have made Sakura's crush on Naruto so obvious, right?
I'm not saying NaruHina can't happen - I never said that, and I never will, unless it becomes completely obvious.
I just think NaruSaku and NejiHina are more likely. *shrugs* That's just mu opinion, and I'll support it to no ends. NO ONE can turn me NaruHina. Never. Really? I doubt it. :3

Well, in Japan blood means a VERY strong connection between people. Its not symbolism used to toy around with.
So far there is absolutely no confirmation on Sakura having a crush on Naruto, there is that she's gotten away from the idea of being wishing to be romantically involved with Sasuke, but nothing particular towards Naruto. What Yamato said in 297 could have easily meant something else and people jumped too fast to conclusions. Hinata's feelings however, have not changed, and I don't think Kishimoto put her on the cover of that particular chapter based on coincidence.
I'm not trying to convert you.

When I say I don't like crush pairings, I'm talking about NejiTen, SasuSaku, and NaruHina. Pairings that have less of a chance of happening, because, well, the female isn't the main character?
No one even seems to consider Naruto as shounen anymore. Because NejiTen, SasuSaku, and NaruHina would have an amazing possibility if it was shoujo, where the female is the main character and gets what she wants.
Now, NaruSaku is not like that. Sakura cares about Naruto - not so much of a crush, really. And Naruto obviously cares deeply about her.

In Japan, just as you said about blood, this means more than it seems. People don't declare: 'I love you' in Japan - they usually say, 'I'll protect you.' And it means the same thing.
Naruto has promised to protect Sakura - and he's done a damn well job with it.
They're also a lot alike. That's one of the reasons Naruto always liked her.

Like Sakura, Naruto always strived to be acknowleged. Maybe not in the same way - but that's always been how he sees her. Someone similar to him.
He saw her like that before he even knew Hinata really existed. People say he's over her, but I think he just cares about her so deeply that he's willing to do just about anything to protect her (to love her?).
Based on the protecting mention, didn't Hiashi once say to Neji, 'If Hinata was here, I'd ask you to protect her?' A possible hint, perhaps?
I might be going too deeply - but it just makes more sense to me than anything about Hinata's crush on Naruto, and Naruto being utterly oblivious.

What's with all this genetic order crap, it's an anime, people don't develop genetic disorders in ANIME. Geez...
Besides it's also very unlikely to happen, the only reason royalty from hundreds of years ago practiced incest like nonstop was to protect the "royal" blood, which overtime led to to disorders because of the invariety of genes in the chromosomes which leads to a higher possibility of disease. (Like people who share the same blood also shares the same sort of genetic disease... say color blindness for example, if two people who both carry color blindness... then the child will obviously get it to, even if the gene is dormant in either parents...)
I mean first off the Hyuuga clan has to be like full incest support for anything like that to happen, and if they are... well more to Nejihina.
If they are not an incest crazy clan then there should be no problems with Neji and Hinata in bearing a disfigured baby.
I do support Nejihina but I also like NejiTen, though I'd prefer Nejiten to happen... in my weird mind Nejihina is still cute.
