Hey! I was wondering how you do two slurred notes that use the same finger? I.e. B flat on the G string slurred to F natual on the D string. Do you use your second finger on one string and third on the other? Do you hold down both with the same finger and just use the side of your finger? I'm lost. x.x;

I usually just hold down both strings with one finger. It's easy for me; put the tip of your finger on the one note, and the pad of your finger on the other. Then again, I have fat fingers. But I think that's easier than trying to mess with two different fingers in the same spot.

Yeah, my fingers are too fat to squeeze two fingers in there, but too skinny for one finger that to be comfotable. xd Poor me. blaugh Thank you for the help! 4laugh I'll probably just do that. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a technique I was missing. 3nodding

Well.. If you're playing guitar you'd use two fingers. On violin or viola you use one finger for both. And on cello you use one finger but different than the violin.

Diamanta Um, isn't that what she said? sweatdrop Diamanta No, I understood what you were saying, but I thought that pla303 had said to use one finger for both strings as well... ninja Thanks, btw. whee Yes, you are quite right. Unfortunately, I completely misread what she said. My apologies. Wow, am I talented or what?

Ha! I once had the parent of a friend of mine (a friend that plays trumpet) ask me which instrument I played in the choir.
