Yeah so I had my mocks and I have show my Muse roots by doing a piece of abstract art based on 'Supermassive Blackhole' by Muse. Cool or what eh?
So anyway, I've got a rubbish grade ( C - CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!) but really enjoyed doing it.
Anyway I was just wondering what people invisaged as a good bit of art to portray Muse music. biggrin
Mine has lots of swirls and waves and crazy colours. Gorgeous biggrin

I'll try and get a picture of it somewhen biggrin

I try incorporating them but it never works out.

My excuse is this:

For 3D art - Well Muse are 3d arent they?
Art in general - Muse are art. Matt is gorgeous.
Still Life - I could use a "still image", a photo.
Portraits - Matttttt!!!!
Abstract - Muse make abstract music, there is a connection.
Artist Profil e - Matt's an artist isn't he?
Modern art - Matt's modern. Right?

And so on. I have plenty of excuses, all of them valid; and all of them eventually leading to a Matt image...But; as it goes; all my teachers just know me too well; they know about my Matt-drawing and never let me off. Although I slipped by in Still life when we had to do homework and I drew Matt in a frame. rofl

But yeah...In the GCSE Art portraits module I'm going to fill my sketchbook with so much Matt, I might as well just bring one from home XD rofl I'd say for excuses you need to be in the right topic...and as for portraying Muse music. Hm. Just dont tell them rofl teachers have no clue, do it in code. Like you could paint your art based on say...I dont know, Bliss. Then hand it in and say it's called Bliss. They wont know a thing. XD

And you know what I hate about Art grading? How the ******** can you grade art? It's all about innovation and emotion, not grading. It's just cruel. As for my grades...let's just say that Art has always been my worst subject rofl so it must be universal. They always down-grade the creative ones...XD

Fools! We can become rich and famous artists without our GCSEs, right? cool

I miss the days of Year 7, 8 and 9. I used to be good at art back then. xd

Yeah...I'm quite lucky really. Teachers let me get away with all sorts of stuff. XD and when I do do something wrong, they never notice it was me. Other than the pink ink I spilt all over the table in my art room/form room XD Oops.

Yeah--depends on what career path...but I think I'm going to become an artist on the side...the kind that sets up an exhibition of their own work somewhere and just sells the paintings as they are. At least that way when I'm dead, family members will get something out of it rofl

Yep...painting ink stuff. My friend gave me some silver ink 3nodding so now I can paint my sketchbook if anything happens. It's silver because I painted it at school, but knowing me I'll write something on it and go wrong XD

Seriously?
Art is a form of expression and is HARD to grade.
My sister says that next year (I'm in Year 9 w00t) they're gonna let us draw a famous person.
If I am allowed to do that, I'm torn between Matt or Till Lindemann from Rammstein (he's an interesting person to draw, plus, my sister says that her art teacher hates rammstein and I might get her. )
