hello! has anyone here seen Ed Wood, it's a really great movie. it's black and white but I think it's better that way! it also has Johnny Depp in it, and he plays Ed Wood. It's kind of a documentary on showing how Ed Wood ( who is an actual director) makes his films. It's really an awsome movie to see!

I have always wanted to see Ed Wood, especially to see Depp in women's clothing.

I love this movie, it's so hilarious and amusing in a twisted way. Johnny Depp was fantastic (no surprise there), and I was so thrilled to find out that Martin Landau got the Best Supporting Actor Oscar-- he really deserved it. =D

I haven't seen it yet. My parents get a little sketchy around R rated movies. I'd really like to see it, but I don't know where to find it anywhere.

Oblivion Goddess I haven't seen it yet. My parents get a little sketchy around R rated movies. I'd really like to see it, but I don't know where to find it anywhere. Don't worry, my parents are like that too-- but remember, America's movie ratings are always higher than they usually need to be in comparison with other countries.
You see, in Canada (where I live), Ed Wood is rated PG! You should tell them that, and assure that there's no nudity, no violence, and I don't recall any excessive strong language at all-- it only deals with a cross-dressing Johnny Depp. xD Which certainly isn't a crime! xDDD

Edward D. Wood, Jr.: I met Bela Lugosi. Dolores Fuller: Why, I thought he was dead. Edward D. Wood, Jr.: No, he's very much alive. Well, sort of. ^^ Bela Lugosi: Aren't you scared, little boy? I'm going to drink your blood! Little boy: You're not a real vampire. Those teeth don't frighten me. [Bela looks puzzled. Ed Wood appears next to him in the doorway] Edward D. Wood, Jr.: How 'bout these? [Pulls out his entire row of front teeth] Edward D. Wood, Jr.: [Little boy screams and runs away] Bela Lugosi: Hey... How d'you do that? Edward D. Wood, Jr.: Dentures! [Holds them up] Edward D. Wood, Jr.: Lost my pearlies in the war!

Just some random facts:
Johnny depp Purchased Bela Lugosi's Los Angeles home and aparently conceived his portrayal of Edward D. Wood Jr. as a cross between Ronald Reagan (the wobbly-headed thing), the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz (1939), and the voice of Casey Kasem. "
