Commander Keely settled herself on her stallions back as she gased over the fields outside the village walls. The village Riversend was one of outlying villages that made up the life blood of the Elven nation of Trice. If it fell there would eb another gap in teh nations defeses and one more opening for the Demons. Keely wasn't sure exactly why the king had stationed her here, but he had requested her to help lead the defense of the nation and so she had come, and now with teh darkness building just on the other side of the river she knew it was only a matter of time before the attack came.
A sudden wind whipped her long honey brown hair around her face and she shivvered, resisting the urge to wrap her cloak more securly around her. She was about to return when she heard the alarm bell ring up at the village, the first wave of demons had been seen through the dark fog. She wheeled her stallion around and galloped full speed back to teh village to rally her troops.
