I was so addicted to that show... it's one of the few animes that ever made me cry. I think they did excellent character development. However, Roan was really starting to piss me off and Yuufa was annoying as hell, and I just wanted to slap her. Maya was a very likeable character though.
I hear they're going to be making another season... maybe we'll see rebirth trans characters? Roan becomes a Paladin and Yuufa high priestess? That would be neat. Maya totally needs to be a biochemist! She'd rock with a homunculus.

Ailinea Baphi was a very likeable character though. Fixed for ya mrgreen But yeah, Roan sucked at the start, got good near the end, then at the end sucked again. Yufa became an insult in-game for our guild: inattentive priests were told "Yufa, HEAL!" or whatever buff ran out Although honestly, fire katana against a jakk? biggrin

In all subbed versions of Ragnarok I've seen, it's always been Maya. Also, Takius as a sage was awesome. I'm so glad she didn't go wiz... she'd get owned.

Ailinea Who the hell is Baphi? In all subbed versions of Ragnarok I've seen, it's always been Maya. Baphomet I found him and Maya to be the only two characters that didn't make me want to go out and commit genocide, but prefered Baphi over Maya.

I like how he knew he could totally annhilate the entire group, but didn't, and ended up being really cool.

I watched about half of it. I would have loved it if the anime was about people playing the game instead. Sort of like .hack.

It was a good 'No Thought' anime. It was really cute, and I could identify with it a lot, and it was some good times, but it wasnt really a good anime. xD
The ending made me cry though. ;____;

It seemed to me like Judia had like inflata-boobs. they seemed to get bigger (and sometimes smaller) over time.
Yuufa made me remember why i stopped making FS class characters my main. she was...dorky. and hearing her cry 'nii-san!' still gives me the occasional nightmare.
Roan went from dorky kid to psycho to asshat. At the end he wasn't so bad.
why they decided to axe the two characters that had the most substance is beyond me.
and also: sage ftw.
