Clan Camp:
The camp is South East of the Kura lake that lies in the middle of the island. It is in a wide ravine, the slope of each of the sides is fairly steep and may require flying to get to top land. A small creek about two feet wide runs though the camp to the lake and is the main source of drinking water for the clan.
The camp enterance is a tunnel big enough for adult kura to enter and leads into a big enough space to support many members of the clan, it is surrounded by a cluster of old thorn bushs, which make up a branch like ceiling over the clan base, stoping predators or invaders to fly into the camp. Its a dome like area that was dug out many moons by the great ancesters of the selini clan.
There is a small cave in the wall of left side of the ravine that is reserved for the alphas of the clan. A moss covered area around the cave opening is reserved for the beta's of the clan, in which they make there sleeping places. Close by a mass of thorn, branchs, moss and grass make up a teepee like area, made for expecting queens and kits of the clan. Its the nursery and one of the most protected areas, with only a small enough opening for a adult kura to squeeze into.
The Omgea, make there beds on the other side of the stream, its a bit more open and away from the alphas main cave enterance. There is a small eatting area, where all prey and fruit is suppiled, it must be freshened everyday. Eating is a bit different among the clan for alpha do not recieve the first pick of prey or fruit, instead young kits, expecting or feeding queens and the eldery are feed first above the clan. Then the Alpha's may choose there dinner, the clan works to feed and strengthin the clan as a whole. Before they eat, they often find a friend to share with, taking a bite of there choosen piece and then trading there prey.
There is a Medicine Kura of the clan that does all the main healing, care and help during births of the Kura, they learn all about herbs and healing aliments of the clan and often keep and train apprentices until they pass on.
The Clan communicate with their ancesters though the stars and often ask the Kura heavens for solutions with their problems. They are sent dreams from their long gone clan mates which are often confuseing.
When a kit has become adult they are sent to sit vigil in the middle of the camp in hopes to recieve the powers of the clan.

In the early moring rays of the day, under a familair tree a egg stired and wriggled. The pressense inside had layed dormant and sleepful for weeks, waiting for the perfect time to hatch from his egg. As the minutes passed the youth squirmed this way and that untill finaly after a hour the child was fully alive. He took his first few breaths of air and stared aimlessly at the sea, the soft lapping of the water on the sand keeping him in a tranceMouko had wondered around looking for others of his clan, being alpha he should have been answered when he called for his clan members! he would have to show who was boss once he gathered them all... thats when he noticed a small kitten just stareing out at the water. Well! there was one of his clan now... well... at least from what he could tell. He trotted up to the young kit, taking notice of the egg shells near by, his head looked back and forth for a mother... they could be dangerous! not seeing one he spoke up as he came closer. "Wheres your mother young kit?" He said wondering if the kitten would understand himthe child's trance was broken at the intrusion of another creature. He turned his head and looked up at the large male, having the eyes of a child, pure and innocent. Even though he was just born he still had insticts, and the first logical thoughts that when through his mind was that he was what the other creature was. When it spoke, he barely manged to derive meaning, and he tried to minic the sounds that came frim him.
"m...mother...?" He wondered what a mother was, and something told him it was someone who would take care of him. Looking about he was sure there was no one else, except the creature who just came. Mabye he was his "mother" and he pointed his little paw at the bigger male to show his "question"Moukos eyes went wide a little with fright when the young kit pointed at him and called him mother! Mother! he wasn't a girl! "Meeeee????....." Mouko said loudly at the kitten. "Oh no no no I am not your mother" He said pauseing to look around to see if he seen any female near by... what female would leave her kit out by himself..
"I.. I can help you find you mommy" He said not wanting to leave the kit alone, a kit wouldn't be able to fend for himself, especially if those hot headed kura got a hold of him, who knows what they would do.
He moved closer to the young kit and tried to pick him up by the scruff on his neck, in order to move him to a safer spot.the loud noises made Oka flinch and duck down close to the ground. He didn't understand what the bigger one wanted, and he was feeling quite tired now. The kit was then woke up a bit when he was picked by the scruff of his neck. He wasn't sure about this and he really didn't like it. Instincts told him to lay limp, but he still struggled, just a little.Mouko carried him off into the territory he had marked off, he jumped down into a large ravine, a small stream of water ran down the middle of it. The place was covered with lush growth making it easy for mouko to hide in. He travelled a while down the ravine before coming to a bramble patch. He had hollowed out the middle of the patch a while back making it the clans homestead. The sandy floor was cool on his paws as he squeezed him and the kitten into a small opening. It was a well protected place from other clans. He had collected moss for sleep nests a while back while waiting for his clan to show.. unfortunely there was no signs of them and unless he found a couple queens to get an actual clan started, him and this little male would be the only ones.
He trotted over to a one of the moss nests and placed the kitten down onto it.
"You can sleep there for now young one... until I can create a nursery..." He padded off wondering what to do about that, usually the female cats constructed a nursery for the young. As he walked off he stopped off at a dead trunk of a tree that had died off before the brambles ever took over and dug up the fresh prey he had placed there for his supper. Taking hold of the small mouse he trotted back to the young kitten wondering what it would eat... He would have to find a female soon, the kitten might be to young to eat the small mouse. He laid the mouse near the nest and nosed it towards the kitten.
"Hopefully this will do.. otherwise I will have to fill you up with water for tonight and find a female tomorrow. " He shook his shaggy fur and licked the young kitten on the head before laying down to watch if he would eat.
"We'll make a warriour out of you yet" He smiled.the kit's eyes were wide with curosity while being carried. He had to close them at first when they jumped into the ravine but soon was staring in awe again.
Once he was placed in the nest he looked at the green stuff that covered the nesting area. It was quite soft and made for a exellent bed. Oka felt very at home here but wondered why there were so many green nests. Were there others here too?
He didn't get much chance to figue this puzzle out; the other male had disapeared and returned in the short time and was now holding something else, and placed it near him.
The small kit then realised for the first time that he was hungry. He sniffed the mouse, taking in the scent and licking it to. It seemed like something he should eat but then it didn't. And the tase...well he wasn't sure about that. But as he tried to bite into it he pulled back. His small little teeth weren't developed enough to tear through the meat.
Oka was soon disratced by this dilema as the male said something whhiched caused him to turn around. warrior? was he refering to him? Oka wondered what it meant.Outside the protected area a white spotted female made her way to the den, she wasn't of this clan. She knew by the scent... but then again she wasn't much of any clan... she had some run ins with her own and had parted ways.... not that they would miss her much.. they had pretty much never noticed her. Her dirty fur made it hard to even see her beautiful colors that once shone though... She sighed and hoped that she would be at least welcomed her... if not there didn't seem to be too many kura in the area. The only scents she could pick up on was a kit and a grown male..Something was coming! oka's ears were held up and he could smell the scent of another...thing. It smelt liek the other adult..but different. crawling out of the nest he trotted (or fell) over towards this new being, regardless of any practical messaures that should be taken when confronting strangers.
Upon seeing her he mewed out a small greeting. There was something about her which he though he had to do. was this what a "mother" was?Mouko had not known what to do with the kitten, he sighed noticeing he couldn't bite though the mouse. He picked it up and added back to the fresh kill pile before dashing off to find something for the kitten.The spotted white female made her way down the slope of the ravine, following the small stream she ducked though the thorn covered tunnel to enter the den. She sat in the soft sand looking around for anyone, that she hadn't taken notice of the small kitten until it mewed. She jumped in the air sputtering before stopping to catch her breath laying on her side.
"Oh thank the heavens, just a kitten!" She hadn't been much of a fighter.
Mouko looked over the area of what he concidered his territory. He renewed the scent markers, as he searched over the place for anyone who might have entered. "hmmmm..."
He caught scent of something strange... something that reminded him of his kitten hood.. He followed it until he found a clutch of eggs...
"what is this!" He let out a cat call, wondering where the mothers might have been...
The reaction of the female cause oka to squeak in surprize and, tumbeling over himself scramble back into the saftely of the cave. Why did the big female do that for? the other one hadn't reacted to him in such a way. Mabye it was cause he meyowed?
he peeked out from the entrance to watch the female, ready to bolt inside further if something else happened.Kara watched the kitten run away and head into the make shift cave that seemed to carved out of the side of the ravine. She didn't mean to scare the little one.. but being on anothers territory had made her jumpy, in fact she was still waiting for some mother to pounce out and give her the what for! She looked left and right before carefully padding over to the cave enterance...
"Greetings... " She said softly, sniffing the enterance... there deffinitly had been some other male here, but she couldn't pick up on anything other then the kit and male.. surely there had to be more here.poke mattix Oka continued to back into the cave as the female drew closer. It looked like the bigger female was more scared then he was. How come?
He looked behind to see the other one was gone, and he was the only one here. It would be nice if the big male was here so he could explain everything...
"m....mother?" perhaps this time he woudl have better luck? as there was nessarily no stupid question, only the one not askedKara sniffed at the young one, mother? didn't he have a mother... poor thing. She leaned in to try and snatch him up to bring him out in the light.. what light that came through the thorn covered ceiling of the over growth.
"Come on... come on out." She said not answering the little ones question, she didn't want to frighten him any more then she had.Agin the young pup ducked further into the cave as she tried to get him out. He was a little confused now, His instincts conflicting. He felt the need to go to the older female and seek saftey, But also felt too that he should hide in the nest so as to keep away from the stranger.
Still, oka let his first instinct over rule and he cautiously creeped into the light and close to the female.Kara waited outside the cave enterance wondering if the little one would ever come out... She looked around the camp sniffing the air, surely a whole clan wouldn't leave a kit behind. That was pure madness, what mother could do such a thing.
She laid down on the sandy bottem, letting out a yawn. The scents here were old and covered, the only thing she could pick up was that of another older male... How strange, maybe they left there old and young behind to die.
"Wheres your clan sweetie?" She said peering back at the enterance of the cave, hopeing he would hop out.Mouko let out a sigh as he laid down to rest, moving all the eggs had become quite a chore and he was tired and hungry. He would have to hunt later though, he was too tired now and still needed something for the kit to eat. What would become of the poor young one, the thought of the little one back at camp made him jump up and push the eggs the rest of the way. He puffed as he rolled them though the enterance of the grose tunnel. Safety at last! He stopped and gave the air a quick sniff! Something wasn't right, he peered past the eggs he was rolling and looked at the female that was sitting outside the cave enterance. Maybe this was the mother! She could feed him, his worries would be over! Still, he took a quick look at the eggs, more mouths would have to be feed soon. He let out a little growl towards the females direction.Kara ears turned towards the grose tunnel enterence, it seemed to be the only logical way out and now she was somewhat traped in the camp with a male and a bunch of rolling eggs! She moved closer to the cave enterence letting out a hiss of warning at the male, watching him closely. "Egg stealer!! don't tell me you stole this young kit as well!"Mouko flattened back his ears and gave a snort in her direction. "I am not no egg stealer! I found them.... in the woods. Its not my fault that mothers seem to be loseing there eggs as well as kits everywhere! I didn't want to just leave them out there.. to .. to .. well who knows what could get them!" Mouko finished. He nosed the eggs to some soft moss nests.Kara frowned, what mothers would do that! certainly they wouldn't leave there eggs unguarded... unless.... who knows what could have got them. She frowned and let out a sigh, she didn't want to start fights, especially not in front of the already scared kit.
She watched as the male placed the eggs carefully in the moss nests and flattened down her fur.
"Well surely you can't take care of all these by yourself!" She finished.. perhaps the male would let her stay here for a while being, she could help.. at least for a while.
"I'm Kara... perhaps I can help a while with the eggs." She said with a half frown and turned towards the cave enterance looking for the kit once more.

((I believe this is open RP? And I hope I'm not interrupting things, but I read it and it seemed that 'Kara' went off to tend the eggs. And Oka and the spotted female are somewhere else...[Spotted female=Kara?] Anyhoo, it seems that Mouko is alone and since he's the Alpha [Only one at this time xD] I guess little Lilith will annoy him. 8D Lucky you, Mouko!))
Where am I? Lilith thought to herself. An hour or two ago, her first memory was that of herself tumbling out of her shell, only to be greeted by a smelly bed of moss. She had shaken herself clean and slowly got up. Trembling a little, Lilith took her first step. Clearing her head, she took in her surroundings. Obviously she was in a forest, and it was around midday. Looking around, Lilith noticed a stream. She softly padded through the thick grass and made her way to its banks. Lilith greedily lapped up the refreshing water, smacking her lips when she was done. Unfortunately, she didn't notice the group around her was muddy...
When she tried to stand up, Lilith slipped and slid into the river! With its strong current, the little kit was immediately on a one-way course to the river’s mouth. Where ever that was. For the kit, each little curve and bend seemed like a U-turn on a highway. She got tossed and turned, dunked under the water, smacked by a floating branch of driftwood, just about everything that one would not want to happen while haphazardly shooting down an unknown river. Finally, when no end seemed in sight, the churning waters calmed and the river went under the shade of either tree or ground.
Soon, Lilith was gently deposited into a fairly shallow basin of water. Looking around, she noted that she was in some sort of grotto. Thick, thorny, vines branched off of vicious brambles that encircled the clearing and formed an artistic dome at the top. Sunlight flooded from the numerous cracks of the vines, giving a sort of surreal peace to the area in general. Slowly, Lilith shook off the water and stepped onto the lush grass. Scanning the area again, she saw a single tunnel that led out. My escape route… she thought.
While Lilith believed that she was alone, she jumped at the sight of a large male sulking around the area. Other than that, the clearing was devoid of her own kind. Quietly, Lilith approached him, making sure not to startle him. Evidently, his long tail swished back and forth while he mumbled to himself about ‘prey’ and ‘how will I take care of all these eggs!’. Almost hypnotized by the pendulumatic effect of his tail, Lilith carefully stalked it…closer…and closer…till finally…CHOMP. She couldn’t help it, but yes, the curious kit had bit the tail.

Mouko let out a yelp as the little one bit into him, her baby teeth sharp!" Ouuuuuwwwwwwwch! What the" Mouko turned to look at what had bitten him! Ack another baby! Not another one! How was he gonna feed em all!
"What are you doing! That hurts" He finally said trying to shake free the kit."
Kara smiled happily as she watched mouko in pain and nosed at the little blue kit she had been feeding eariler

Moving slowly and quietly through the darkness, a ghostly white kura kit moved along hte river. The albino or ghostly kura moved with a small kit-like grace. She was tired and all alone. She came to just outside the camp before stumbling and letting out a small sharp cry and landing hard. She laid there, her tail dragging in the river. She had gone so far without food after hatching to find her mother gone with blood around the area she hatched. She didn't know what happened but she knew it wasn't good, so she tried to escape. Now she laid by a river in the middle of nowhere too hungery and tired to move any farther. So with that, the kura kit fell asleep.

"Mew?" Lilith mewed innocently. Upon noticting that the tail tasted horrible, and that the owner of it was trying to shake her off, Lilith released her grip and let out a sad little mew. She was hungry, wet, mud flicked, and tired. To top it off, she had no idea where she was or who her mother was! Shaking the water off, Lilith began cleaning off her fur. At the same time, she replied to Mouko, "Sowwy. Taily looked yuuuummy! Hehe! Me hungwy...give foody??" When she finished primping herself, Lilith snuggled against Mouko, trying to get warm again. Curling up against him, she waited almost patiently for her food.

"I shall be back little one" She rushed to the enterance of the camp and stuck her head out, she blinked in the twilight darkness, the sun had begun to set. Was that a glow of some sort? It seemed like almost an essence.... She was a bit on sure of it... a ghost? She kept her fear in check and padded up to get a closer look! A ghost kit! Was it real?
"Merow?" She said wondering if the kit would disappear in front of her or respond.Mouko watched Kara leave the camp! What was she doing! ahhh! he was left with two kits now! He was more like a big kit himself and he prayed she would return, he didn't know how to handle all of em!.
"Ummm umm.." He looked over at the half eatten mouse! maybe he could do the same as kara had done for the other kit!. He picked it up and tore a chunk off of it and began to chew it up, it tasted so good, he let some of the juices linger on his tongue, he had forgotten how hungry he was himself but he must not swallow! It took all of his will power not to devour the mouse. He spat out the chewed up mouse meat in front of the kit and nosed it to her.
"There we are... " He said hoping the kit could eat it, there was no way he was gonna be able to get milk from anywhere on him! Where were all these kits mothers!

it was amazing! oka was in awe as not one, but two other kits had appeared out of no-where! and they all looked really hungry and tired as well. He watched the male tore of a chunk of the food and give it to the kit. Would this help the other whiter kit?
He walked over to the remains of the mouse. There was not much left of it but, it would have to do. At first he tried to imitate the big male by tearing it up, but his baby teeth were a hinderance once again, so he picked up the rest of the mouse and padded over to the white kit.He did not think, however, if it would even be able to eat the mouse.

Noticing the other blue kit, Lilith looked over at him. He seemed to be examining the carcass that the big green male tore some off of. He dragged it off, causing Lilith's ears to p***k back and forth, agitatedly. She had her eye on it!
Looking at the mush that the green Kura deposited in front of her, Lilith made a picky face and said, "Bluch!" Going over to big pile of mouse and other small animal carcasses, she clawed at a tiny field mouse's body and brought it back to where Mouko was. Ravashing, she tore nearly successfully at it, enjoying her meal. Remembering the big Kura that tried to help her, she rabidly tore some off and pushed it towards him. "Doesh you wantsh shum???" she asked in mid bite, thoroughly chewing it through.

The ghostly kura raised her tiny head. She let out a small mew, then placed ehr head down again. She was hungery but wasn't sure on how to speak. She hadn't seen another kura in ehr life. She looked at the spotted kura and mewed again. She tried to stand up but wobbly legs led her to fall again. She laid on teh ground as she looked up with wide eyes.
Her white fluffy tail dragged in the water still as the ghost sat there. Her small wings were the color of the lightest pink and her eyes blank without emotion. She was hungery but she couldn't really show that as an 'emotion' as such so she just laid there hoping the other kura understood.

The white kura appeared so weak! what was he supposed to do? He was only small, and his mind lacked any answer besides trying to give her the mouse he had taken. He nudged it further to her, hoping she would eat it. It also appeared she didn't know how to speak either. Mabye speach was something they were supposed to learn as they grow up?
