Here is my Bard, Neupow Genna. He was created after my favorite singer Prince and his band New Power Generation.

History: Neupow Gena comes from a long line of bards. He has three brothers and 2 sisters. They all live together in a small community with his mother and father. Chaundice was their patron goddess, they even had a small temple to her where everyone met once a year to sing songs and share in the joys of music. His mother was the most famous of their villiage. Her voice was like the sound of wind chimes and bird calls all mixed together.

Then one day, a strange disease struck the town. No one knew where it came from but they were horrified by the destruction it caused. Those afflicted with the disease lost their voice. Some could talk but sounded horse constantly; others simply lost any and all sound. Neupow's mother was one of those stricken. She was devestated by the loss of her voice as she could no longer sing to her children. Even of of Neupow's sisters lost her voice before she could even speak full sentences. Their family was filled with sorry and he longed to know what would heal their aching hearts.

He went to the temple and prayed for an answer to his mother's tears and, in a dream, it came to him. He picked up his mother's lute and began to play the songs he remembered her singing. His voice was just as beautiful as hers, which brought tears of joy to her face. Through practice and encouragement by his mother, he was able to master all vocal ranges. From the very high to the very low. But he still longed to do something that would bring the music back to his town. So he sent off on a journey to become a great Bard, and one day, lead the town in song again at Chaundice's temple.
