"6.5"......6 point ******** 5, my a** its 0.5 less then Tenkaichi 1. They don't know what they are doing in this case considering they probally rated the wii version.

any thoughts

Well, dude. We both even agreed that the story mode was complete, utter bullshit. I still can't believe I sat through the whole thing. I had to unload half of it on my brother because I just didn't feel like fighting Brolly or Cooler for the 5th time. =/ Plus, the game is still biased towards certain characters. It's definitely more balanced than Tenkaichi due to transformations, but pick ******** and you're in.

Along with just having too many characters, and repeat characters. Not having all the transformations for characters (even if it would tamper with the continuity, who really cares?) and the fact that it's generally more of a party game because there are so many characters that play alike. But it CAN'T be a party game because the learning curve is so hard.

Yeah i hate the ratings they give anime related games. I mean when they, meaning mainstream game sites/magazines such as IGN/Gamespot and PSM, rated B3 they gave it a good score and said even regular fighting game fans who arent into dbz may like it because of the challenge zipping behind the opposing character and vice versa gave the fights. Then when T1 came out they also gave it a good score for it's character models and vastness of characters. So now that they rated it lower than the first when everything about it is better than T1,even if it's not perfect, that is total BS.

Dude, like I just said.

Did you enjoy story mode? Did you really? Did you have fun, eating the same story that's been forced down your throat since you were in elementary? Did you looove just sitting there for hours on end knowing you had to finish it just to unlock that one character you want?

Dude, the game isn't great. It's decent at best. The fighting system isn't perfect either. It's better than Tenkaichi, but there isn't any significant leap, really. Transformations should've been in the first game. In my eyes, the second one is what the first one should've been.

Now, maybe number 3 will be a good game.

now I've played super dbz and I have to say bt2 has a much better combat engine for the series. Its not perfect becasue they are still perfecting this new kind of fighting game.

That's a matter of oppinion. I've already stated before that the DBZ name drags Super DBZ into the dirt. Where, if it weren't a DBZ game, would probably be a pretty popular fighter in the vain of Project Justice.

lol We get it you dont like Tenkaichi as much as the regular Budokai series but like sarriss also said i believe a third tenkaichi would make it pretty damn near perfect as long as they were to add what i suggested in the DBZ PS3 topic. I mean c'mon,Budokai 3 was pretty close to perfecting the style of the budokai series while adding in alot of new features so maybe 3 in DBZ is the lucky number.

I'd agree that 3 is a lucky number for DBZ games. B3 was the best of the budokai series and Hyper Dimension (I know it's technically not a three, but my mind thinks of it as Butoden 3 for some reason) was the best of the DBZ snes fighters.

Then they need to skip Super DBZ 2 and go straight to 3.

Well actually there were three butodens and hyper dimension came after them. So i guess HD'll be an exception along with super dbz,cus really i loved super dbz and it's a standalone game that i dont think really needs a sequel. I mean c'mon, would any of you want to see two more sequels of Sagas? I know I wouldnt want to.

Im hoping for a Super DBZ sequel that adds all the stuff I wanted before but forgot what they were. Yeah. >_>;

Also, implant a V-Chip in the game that makes it to where if you don't know how to do a quarter circle, Jean Claude VanDamme comes out of the screen and bites your balls off before you have time to b***h about it.

butoden 3 really didn't count as a butoden game in my books purely because its was pretty much only multiplayer. the excemption of a story mode or something like it was bullshit.

this is somthing I'm not suprised about. Not because of the game, but the Gamespot or other gaming sites/magazines. As far of the Budokai games, I'd say B.3 has been the one of enjoyed the most. Tenk.1 has it's good and bads, but I'd say it's more of a simulation game rather than a fighting game.

The story mode in every game after Budokai 1 kind of ticked me off, because I didn't actually get to see the story happening. Tenkaichi 2 gave me a little bit of it back ( the Bardock ending, Cell ending, Buu ending had some visuals ), but really, I can only get so much pleasure from hearing the announcer tell me I defeated a villain without actually seeing it happen.

Audio: "And Gohan turned Super Saiyan 2, and blew the ******** out of Cell, and everyone cheered."
Visual: Gohan, just standing there, breathing really hard.

That's not what I paid for.
