Yeah I felt I should at least write something since it feels like there is no news on any Jrock. I can say I have been watching An Cafe music videos on youtube and they do play good. I only saw the translated lyrics of Escape and Snow Scene and they are depressing but the music is good. Any other bands interesting let me know. xp cool

I just listened to these bands recently, and i think they're really good:
Girugamesh
Duel Jewel
176Biz
Irokui
They're not new (I don't think), but still good

My new favorites are Kagrra and Suicide Ali...
was brought to this thread because I thought you meant new as in... recently created. *Edit: sorry... I just skimmed through without reading and saw Dir en grey and D'espairs Ray without noticing the context xd . I was like "THEY'RE NOT OLD, the thread must be new-old-band favorites, not new-band-new-favorites."
Suicide Ali is fairly new... and their singer kicks a** domokun
BTW... they are SOME of my NEW favorites... My #1 is Dir en grey all da' way.

Another band that sounds good is Goofy Style. I only heard of them because I saw a fanvid done to one of their songs by someone. The fanvid is on youtube. xp
