Well, I am probably one of few people here who wasn't part of the original shop. I think i was on gaia at the time; but I mostly hung out in barton town and a few chatterbox threads before the CB went to the dogs.
I am a shop colorist; and as such, I got permission to make myself one, so I could rp with you fine people.

Amazon Amythest. What can we say about her? I'll have to rp her a bit to really feel her personality out. However, the fact she belongs to the amazons alone speaks volumes. She possesses strong matriarchial type views. She lives in the part of the village without any males. In fact, she is one of the older amazons who live there, aside from the elders. She was one of the ladies who helped construct the town. She doesn't accept slacking or excuses from the village. She also doesn't care for tresspassers. She loves town festivals though. She has over the years come to tolerate minimal male presence through understanding of their need for them in order for their race to continue. As of yet, she hasn't found need of a mate for herself. She is content to help build and guard their town up. intro of character Amythest was sitting out on a stoop outside her tall tree-townhome. She lived in the rear of one of the most densely populated Amazonian villages. She had helped build it when it was still in its earlier days. She helped build up the village for several reasons. In one part, she liked being able to say that she had a hand in helping the towns evolution as it would grow larger. She also enjoyed people looking up to her; and the younger girls who thought she was some kind of small town hero. She liked all that; so it wasn't like she was helping out of a total sense of benevolence. For being such a large help to the towns women, she was granted half an acre of land that surrounded the large river that passed through the north half of town. For the last few years, Amythest and a few other of the hard working ladies had been building a bridge across the river so as to have a two sided town that could control that point of the river. Being so instrumental in this process had given her a lot of influence and persuasion. She was always refusing to be involved in their government and politics though. For all the glory and fame she wanted, she didn't want any of the responsibility. She was at the core a bit selfish. She did lots of things that on the outside seemed generous and helpful; but most also served some purpose towards making her seem better while letting her get away with not having to do any more than what she wanted.
At the time, the settlement on the north side of the river was rather small as the majority of their townies lived on the south side. Some didn't like the idea of traveling back and forth over the bridge. In fact, some of the elders in the village felt it was unwise if in the event mother nature punished them for something or had a distaster unforseen. Most of the others who lived on the north side traveled in town to do their daily duties. This worked out well. Amythest had that part of town all to herself most afternoons. She liked it that way. She would catch and fry fish that she would take into towns on the weekend to sell off for some cash. Not that she was ever at a loss for large amounts of money. She had been a rogue in her youth. She was never above robbing from the rich to lend to herself. In fact, she felt it wasn't even robbery at all. She was helping to set in motion events that helped other Miaoni remain humble and not put their trust in their lofty possessions. That was what she thought anyways.
On this afternoon, Amythest was on her stoop. It was right outside the elevator that took up to the towering heights of her house. She had rigged it herself to mimic one she had seen in a port town once that was used to help move product around a warehouse. She had always dreamed that one day she would have one to use at her whim. She had it. But, now her thoughts were turning to building up the north side of town. No matter what she did; it just didn't ever seem to be enough. Just one more accomplishment, one more expansion. She leaned forward giving a look to the land north of her. She thought perhaps they could get some livestock and let them graze in a pen back there. Or, maybe they could build a road. Eventually, the amazons might need to branch out into another town. She decided to take a walk through that dense forest there. She wanted to see what possibilities she could unlock for herself and the townspeople. She grabbed her backpack and gear, fastening her whip to the side of it, and belting her knife to her thigh. She was prepared for an evening out walking. She stopped momentarily to fill up her canteen with the water out of the river.
