Yes....very depressing.
I liked Tama better, though...Taka was his own person.

I don't like the way the anime producers made Kagome act. I mean, she's always being a prep when she's so much more. mad

Yeah. I also don't like the way they make Kagome and Inuyasha's relationship. Kagome gets pissed off by even the smallest thing and she's always like taking everything out on Inuyasha and Inuyasha is an idiot who's always fighting with her. They are just so unstable and pathetic...and the angst is pathetic as well...>_>;

As for Kikyo and Inuyasha, I favor it a little bit because it was Inuyash'as first love. No fights; the real thing. Still, the grudge Kikyo has for Inuyasha is reasonable up to a point. But after a while is like "Girl...get over it. He did nothing."

So yeah...I just find it pathetic and unrealistic.

I understand where you're coming from, but I think you're being a bit harsh. InuYasha was my first ever manga, I've been reading it for almost four years, and I'd like to make MY point too.

I think Rumiko Takahashi is the kind of person who writes manga where the main female character is often pissed at the guy she's in love with - I mean, it happens in Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, and InuYasha, her most popular series.

I think InuYasha and Kagome do have a few differences that make them a bad pairing, but they also have good points to them too. Both of them are accepting, and trying to understand the other. Kagome's a teenage girl, and just like any other girl, she's bound to get jealous, or annoyed.

As for Kikyo, she only held a /real/ grudge up the eighth volume. After talking to her younger sister, she was able to understand that you don't have to stay the same after death, and that it was Naraku, not InuYasha, who caused her all that pain. And she was willing to help InuYasha, and Kagome, even if she still loved him and Kagome was a reincarnation.

InuKikyo was a very realistic relationship, though. I agree, there are some aspects that I like a lot better than Inu and Kago's relationship. It just felt like better love.

Hm...I see your point. Still, I do think that Kagome has to mature a bit more and I think Kikyo should try and be nicer. She's still acting a bit cold in my opinion. And Inuyasha...he's so undecisive! Is clear that he currently loves Kagome but still has some feelings for Kikyo. That's the problem in my opinion...

Yes, SessRin was my ultimate canon before I knew anything about Kagura and Sess's relationship. (I had noticed their interraction, but yeah, never thought of it as more)

Rin's a very good person for him...soften his heart, ne?
