In the endless line of progressive giants can't Spock's Beard just be not there. It's a very weird style of music and the band has changed a lot since Neal Morse left the band. But.. holy s**t! A new cd has come out and www.lordsofmetal.nl (Dutch metal e-zine) has given the new album a 9.4! surprised So... what do you guys think of Spock's Beard?

I love them. They have a real slick style. Of course, I say that about a lot of bands. sweatdrop

The glass prison is still a Metallica-ripoff to me.. neutral And I never tried Transatlantic, but according to the fact Neal Morse is in it, it has to sound a little like the Spocks Beard-weirdness.

I heard some of Alan Morse's solo work not too long ago. It was amazing! Has anyone else given it a listen?
