What's so cool about a rainy day?

One day, as I was walking along in the quad on a cold, cold day, I realized I smelled rain, or that thing I always smell when it's raining. "Well, this smells nice," I thought.

And so here we are. xD;



This is probably part of what she smells like. I dunno? xD; It's better than just asphalt though.

Name of Scent: Yu
Gender: Female
Scent: Rainy Day
Physical description for each stage:
Burner, Unlit and Lit:
-dark, dark brown, resembling damp soil. When lit...I dunno, maybe it makes little rainclouds or something.

Child:
-Yu’s hair is a very dark brown, like wet soil. Her bangs are parted in the middle and reach slightly past her chin, kept out of her face by a pair of teardrop-shaped hair clips. Her hair is cut short in the back, and her eyes are a cloudy sort of grey, like rain clouds. She wears a buttoned up, oversized raincoat that falls past her knees and ends a few inches above her ankles. The sleeves go a few inches past her fingertips. From the collar, the neck of a turtleneck shirt pokes out, and underneath her raincoat is also a pair of jeans. Her shoes are a pair of muddy-looking boots. The colors of her clothing are muted or dark hues.

Adolescent:

Personality:
-In three words or so: Affable, honest, somewhat spacey

-Detailed: Yu is a placid, affable person. She tends to space out often, musing on everything from the green-that-resembles-a-poisonous-tree-frog shirt you’re wearing to whether or not you go places when you die. She’s somewhat oblivious and naïve, and many implications in life tend to be lost on her. Yu’s also very honest. She says what she thinks and means what she says, completely unable to tell when to hold back. Even though she might come across as hurtful or rude at times, she never means to be. Somewhat thankfully, she tends to be quiet and keep to herself. She is surprised and upset easily, and also cries easily even when she knows that there is very little to cry over. She’s not angered very easily and is quick to forgive.
-->Like: Plants, cleaning, background sound, umbrellas, rain
------>When I think of rain (the smell) I think of plants, because the plants are getting watered so that they can grow more. Also, when it rains, the creek by the school doesn't smell at all; when I look at it, the water's clear again. Rain (the sound) is very soothing to listen to, and it's never completely quiet on a rainy day.
-->Dislike: Sitting still, crying
------>She dislikes crying because half of the time, she doesn't know the reason why she's crying--it just happens on it's own. It's disruptive and bothers people...and when people try to help her, it tends to get worse or start up all over again. So when she starts crying, she either tries to brush it off as something else, find a way to leave, or chases people off.
