After meeting Ment, Vanyel more properly meets Arius in a clothing store.

Vanyel and Ment meet once more and Vanyel finds money an important aspect of life.

Vanyel meets a new scent, Anbu, in a library.

Vanyel meets Amahte for the second time at the playground.

 Citrus is a common term and genus of flowering plants in the family Rutaceae, originating in tropical and subtropical southeast Asia. The plants are large shrubs or small trees, reaching 5–15 m tall, with spiny shoots and alternately arranged evergreen leaves with an entire margin. The flowers are solitary or in small corymbs, each flower 2–4 cm diameter, with five (rarely four) white petals and numerous stamens; they are often very strongly scented. The fruit is a hesperidium, a specialised berry, globose to elongated, 4–30 cm long and 4–20 cm diameter, with a leathery rind surrounding segments filled with pulp vesicles. The genus is commercially important as many species are cultivated for their fruit, which is eaten fresh or pressed for juice.
Citrus fruits are notable for their fragrance, partly due to flavonoids and limonoids (which in turn are terpenes) contained in the rind, and most are juice-laden. The juice contains a high quantity of citric acid giving them their characteristic sharp flavour. They are also good sources of vitamin C and flavonoids.
The taxonomy of the genus is complex and the precise number of natural species is unclear, as many of the named species are clonally-propagated hybrids, and there is genetic evidence that even the wild, true-breeding species are of hybrid origin. Cultivated Citrus may be derived from as few as four ancestral species. Numerous natural and cultivated origin hybrids include commercially important fruit such as the orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and some tangerines.

Favorites:Food; Vanyel adores oranges, though that wasn't much of a surprise. She is also very partial to other members of the citrus family.
Colour; Orange is her favorite colour, but she likes it most when there are other colours combined with it, such as yellows, blacks and browns.
Weather; Nothing feels better to Vanyel than being able to lay outside with a book in her hands and a limeade next to her. That being the case, Vanyel adores a sunny day with just the hint of a breeze to keep from getting over-heated.
Season; Summer
Books; Anything she can get her hands on. Vanyel adores reading and she will read as much as she can. Even with Kitten's extensive collection of books Vanyel has found herself having to go out to the public library to get more.

The first and second stages are the shortest. This is the unlit burner, where the incense stands alone, unlit and basically just smelling good. >> Lit Scent
At this stage the candle is introduced, which evaporates the oil and lets it dispurse through wherever you put the burner in the first place. >> Child Scent
The most impressionable stage. The child will already have a few character traits to it from it's original scent, but this is where you are able to mold them into what you want them to be. The clothes will be very simple, nothing too complex, and the child will always be in some sort of sitting stance. And anyone around them will smell their faint scent. >> Adolescent Scent
The stage we all hate. They're teenagers, they're rambunctious, they want to drive you absolutely nuts. Teen Scents have the strongest scent in the stages, they're at the peek of their youth and they like to express it. Their clothes are more outrageous and complex during this stage. >> Adult Scent
Finally, maturity. During this stage the Scent's scent dies down a little, not being as strong as it once was. Their clothes are more sophisticated or elegant and express what we may consider maturity to be. At this stage they are also able to reproduce, having one or two children in their lifetime. Twins are very rare, but not impossible. >> Elder Scent
Their scent is almost faded, but their beauty is still there. Elder scents are the last stage of a Scents life, the beauty of maturity, they give off that 'all knowing' look that all the younger Scents can't stand. Their clothes will indicate their wisdom and the beauty that follows it. >> Scent Maker
