The skill and the quality of section 9 continuously astounds me. They completely changed how I look at intelligence warfare and I'm thankful for that. In retrospect the are so much more then an intelligence team though. And I think that's part of what makes them so damn cool that while being bad a** calm cool and collected they are also all very intelligent well rounded and experts in there fields.

That's A good question that I had not really considered. I mean I'm sure they well all be fine they are strong capable individuals. But as Batou said the major's leadership abilities strength and personality is what brought them all together in the first place. And on top of it the AI on the new tanks leaves some thing to be desired the tachikomas where a valuable part of the team.

How huge is huge? Also bigger is not always better and it's not always worse. I mean think about it if we know it's quality over quantity then chief Aramaki damn sure knows it. He's smarter then me by a damn site and also section 9 is his baby. Section 9 truly makes a difference and a world of corrupt governments and lies. So I have to believe that he took the time to only recruit people with potential to add to the team and make section 9 better. And the major and Batou have say in who joins and who doesn't. So unless the writers are total and complete pricks there is no way it's gonna be a bad thing.

I agree that was part of there dynamic but at this point in time all we can really do is sit back and hope for the best. The changes of all ready been set in motion.

It's sad that the shorter series are the best ones. It least it was better then when pat labor made a TV series.
