Yes. We started discussing the donation items and how they were crappy, then I brought my thoughts on how gaia would implode. Now we're discussing on what action should be taken. You might want to read back a few pages, we've only just begun.

Ahh, mmkay. I went back a couple pages to see what I could find out. Yeah, the items are a bit over-rated (Though I'm still holding out for a cow this month xD), and Gaia's grisly death is imminent unless something drastic occurs, but what could we do to change that? It's not like Gaia has a big 'ole 'Now Hiring' sign for people like us.

Or, at least, not where I'm looking.
Why look? We can be the ones that start hiring others like us. Someone has to start it! Lets make a guild for people like us then we'd all be in one place and we could spread our ideas around! I'm more then willing to run it. And we can start spreading the word that way instead of just discussing it.

If I could drive.. I'd march down to to that gaia place and make them listen.. But I can't drive.. So, I'll just have to wait until AX if I wanted to say anything. They should have been there more than one day this year, though. Cause they didn't go the day I did.. Cause I had no idea what day they would be there. Dx

lol thats brilliant. However there are several problems. Lots of people don't even care to think about it. They leave everything in the hands of the admins/mods and hope that everything would get better. Few would take action.

Every webforum has gone to porn now.... Even YouTube is suffering from it. I've recieved 10 porn site invites on my YouTube account in the last two days.

Anyways, I'm against chatterbox use now because of it, why im here you ask? Because its the only place i can post and earn gold to buy my girlfriend a lovely present for x-mas without selling my items.

But with all that aside. Imaturaty is a part of the internet. A lot of the "kids" are on because their parents don't know anything about computers and internet use so when their parents ask what they are doing they just say "Oh nothing, just checking stuff thats all" but in reality they are doing stupid things that can equate to an intelligence of a person with down syndrome. Not bashing people with down syndrome because i have a cousin who has it, but is WAY smarter than these "kids" that post stupid stuff on webforums.

Sushi errors? please enlighten me


Sushi errors pretty much happened when one part of Gaia happend to crash because of High Traffic. sweatdrop We'd get hit with the Sushi Error every hour or so when surffing the Forums.

Back then Gaia was all Forums and Shops and just two main maps, Barton Town and Isle de Gambino. We didn't have the luxuries of Towns, Mini Games, or even Housing. We also started off with Peasant Clothes instead of actual clothes sweatdrop

I remember the Personals! That was very wierd to say the least. It was like late 04 that they shut it down because of something that happened. I think it was because of Solicitation of Sex or something that has happening. Or too much of the "Slave/Master" Style topics ninja

Gaia is becoming ridiculous. I remember I had an old account, and I used to be able to come to the CB and see decent random chat threads, random party threads, or some actually good belief threads. It used to entertain me, and now I decided to start again, made a new account, and see that the CB is like 1o billion times worse than before... pisses me off. And I agree on that pricing crap... but that's gonna happen anyway, I don't think that has much to do with the n00bs.
No, the infation was the old greedy exchangers wanting to finish their quests faster. It backfired and all of gaia suffered.
Yeah, but like I said, it really had nothing to do with n00bs, just people being greedy and getting away with it. the price inflation also came from intelligent pricing and price raising. Also the obnoxiously high amouts of money people get for doing repetitive things. I'm just glad they made it harder for poll whores to get money.
It's not the poll whores that are the problem. It's the Exchagers. sweatdrop

Yeah, but the ridiculously high amount of people doing things like scamming, poll whoring, etc. were one of the reasons the gougers in the market got away with it.

I usually hang out in charities. The people who run them aren't so bad. They're fun to talk to but their numbers have dwindled as of late. You find more and more charties that people are using to get donations for their own impossible quest.

I used to hang out in donation threads, but I was tired of people yelling at me for thinking I was there to take advantage of someone's charitable ways, when I was merely trying to strike up some interesting conversation.
Thats sad. I haven't gotten yelled at yet, I hoping the day will never come. But hope is short-lived on gaia.

Yeah, about as short-lived as reasonable prices in the Marketplace.

I remember buying a Chyaku Norisu Scarf for a whopping 4k...Last time I checked, it's running somewhere near 49k now...'Ho boy, the times they are a-changin'.
I miss the cheap items, but theres not much we can do about it. Less donaters and more noobs=inflation. There will be no end to it. Soon 50k will be a usless amount of gold.
