As she strolled around the soft, grassy, small meadow she contemplated about the one FMN she couldn't stand. She didn't even know why she didn't like him; she liked all the FMN's, and was a generally friendly one. But when it came to that FMN, she could only feel dislike toward him; no, she didn't hate him, no matter how much she said so, but she did dislike him. Syon stood out in her mind as the most confounding Forget-Me-Not she had ever come across. And what was worse was...

...Was when she saw him last, he had grown handsomely. She flushed a light pink as she remembered what he had looked like. He looked amazing (not that she would ever tell him and admit that aloud) and she couldn't help but wonder... now that they were teens (herself, Whysper, him... and so many others)... where did this sudden liking for Syon spring from? She hadn't liked him before, but all of a sudden, she found herself not really minding him too much, and though she matured slightly, she was still herself...

Syon stretched languidly, digging his claws deep into the soft grass. He was tempted to curl back into it, the feeling of something other than snow being almost too nice to pass up. He was finally alone. Something he found rare nowadays, with meeting so many new FMNs. He almost missed the quiet moments he used to always find himself in previously.
Not that he didn’t like the other FMNs… well, most of them.
His thoughts quickly turned towards the azure Kazuli. A small grin played across his face, he was finally as big as her! He no longer had to look up at her anymore, something he had honestly not been too happy about.
Turning his head slightly to the small gust of wind that played across the field Syon shut his emerald eyes, his other senses flaring to life.
He could smell another. Huffing slightly at his ‘alone time’ being cut short he began heading closer to the scent. From this distance he still couldn’t place the smell with the FMN.
Either way, as long as it wasn’t the, admittedly beautiful, Kazilu he’d be fine.

She was enjoying herself. She had never had alone time before, and it felt really nice. Sure, she loved to be around others most of the time, but getting to be by herself was an exhilarating feeling. She almost felt free. Wings fluttering from the soft, warm breeze, she barely stifled a soft laugh at how she was acting. It was like being a child again, playing in the snow...

...Which brought back memories of how she play-wrestled with Syon when they first met. A frown painted her face as she slowed her happy gait to a thoughtful walk. Being in deep thought, she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, and so missed the scent of another FMN, and even had she caught it, she wouldn't have recognized it right away, anyway. Flicking her two tails idly, she began to wander around in her mind through her daydreaming.

Syon quickly came in sight of the other FMN, stopping so quickly he was forced to unfold his wings and beat at the air a few times to keep himself from tumbling over.
He really hadn’t expected to run into Kazilu. At least not by herself. She had always seemed too much of a sociable FMN to him, always looking to meet new faces, and carrying around that constant cheerful attitude.
He wondered how she did that. Be happy all the time.

Sometimes he cursed his unending curiosity, like in this moment. It was probably too late to turn back now, she had probably seen him, and he didn’t want to seem like a fool running away. So, slowly he continued towards Kazilu. Maybe if he just didn’t say anything at all they wouldn’t end up fighting again?
Syon quickly threw that idea out the window. Since when had he ever been able to keep his mouth shut?

She was snapped out of her daydreaming when she heard the beating of wings. Pink eyes blinked in rapid succession as she tried to organize her disoriented mind. Syon's familiar form came into real focus as she finally took in her surroundings, and all she could do was, well, gape. She was stunned to find him out here, where she thought herself to have been alone. She always seemed to be running into him, it seemed.

She watched him cautiously as he approached her, trying her best not to ogle. He was definitely more handsome in real life than through her memories. Biting the inside of her cheek to keep from saying anything out of hand, she instead just scanned him from head to tail, and then returned her gaze to his face. She really had nothing to say, for once, and she was feeling a bit nervous. Why she was feeling nervous, she had no idea.

Syons fur stood on end slightly as he watched Kazilu scrutinize him. It was… an uncomfortable feeling, having someone studying him so closely.
He came to a stand still a few paces from her, not sure what to do next, he wasn’t that great with others, let alone someone he had only seemed to have disagreements with.
Letting the silence continue for an awkward amount of time, tails waving slightly behind him. He met Kazilus eyes, her pale pink giving off a softer look than Whyspers sharp pink had ever given.
She seemed nervous, though he couldn’t place why. Annoyed he could understand.
“Er…” Articulate as always Syon. He thought exasperatedly, almost wishing he hadn’t broken the silence.

Almost at the exact time he broke the silence, Kazilu said about the same thing. "Er..." She cleared her throat, wondering why Syon could seem so calm and completely missing that he hadn't really commented or said anything insulting. "Um... Hello, Syon," she said quietly, eyes cast down slowly as she decided the ground was a bit more interesting to stare at. If she looked at him anymore than she already had she feared something truly embarrassing would happen with her.

She didn't want Syon to see her embarrassed, but she feel a flush rising on her face anyway. Why was she blushing? She mentally banged her head against a tree trunk, and then glanced back up at Syon, the blush not really going away, if fading slightly. "What brings you out here?" she blurted out, but in the same soft tone she had used earlier. Gentle pink eyes now began to look everywhere nervously but at Syon. If she kept this up, Syon would guess and then he'd laugh at her, and that would be more humiliating than she could take.

Syon quirked his head slightly to the side. She was acting strange, or at least, stranger than usual. “Hi… uh, I was out here sleeping.” He twitched an ear in agitation as Kazilu looked everywhere but at him. If she hadn’t wanted to talk she shouldn’t of said anything at all! Weird girl…
Trying to catch Kazilus eyes again he noticed the small patch of pink running across her cheeks. Ah! Kiri had looked like that once when she had been sick.
Taking the few steps forward Syon closed the distance between them, resting his forehead gently against Kazilus, trying to feel for her temperature. Not that it helped much he found, since his body temperature was so much lower than what was considered ‘normal’ it felt like everyone was sick.

She nearly flailed in surprised when Syon suddenly came up to her and put his forehead against hers. His felt much cooler than her own, but the closeness between them only served to make her blush become much more noticable. "W-W-W-What are you d-doing?" she stuttered, somehow managing a sentence. Her body quivered. He looked kind of annoyed, and at the same time, somewhat concerned.

Kazilu shut her eyes tight, trying desperately to stop being dramatic. Whatever this fluttering feeling was, she needed to smash it to bits and then run. Syon liked Whysper better than her anyway, and so she wondered why he wasn't with the silver, pink eyed FMN who seemed to have more of his kindness than she herself did. "Oh, um, you were... sleeping? I-I'm sorry I interrupted..." she apologized, even though she wasn't even sure if it was her fault.

Emerald eyes blinked owlishly. “Yes, I was sleeping…” He repeated himself slowly. Why was she apologizing?
He felt her body quiver beneath his forehead. “I’m seeing how sick you are, Kiri said you can tell by seeing how hot someone’s forehead is, but I’m not good at it. Maybe you should go to your owner?” Syon suggested, keeping his head pressed against her. Her warmth felt good against his cool body.
Reluctantly he pulled away, seeing Kazilus eyes screwed tightly shut.
Oh! He had almost forgotten the animosity between them! Of course Kazilu wouldn’t wan to be touched by him, he should have just asked instead…
"S-sorry. I didnt mean to- I mean. Uhm. Sorry?" Syon wished he knew how to use his newly grown wings now, he would of given anything to simply fly himself away from the situation altogether.

When he suddenly backed away Kazilu opened her eyes in shock. Especially when he was suddenly apologizing! "Um... no, I uh... why are you... saying sorry?" she cocked her head, legs refusing to move for fear Syon would just run away. For some reason, she wanted him to stay, and yet, at the same time, she wished he would leave. She found herself immobilized to do anything except speak. His cooler body had calmed her down slightly, but now that he stepped away, her nervousness shot up like a hot water spout.

Kazilu flailed mentally for a moment about what to say. "Um... um... I forgive you? You didn't do anything wrong... and uh... I'm not really sick... just... um..." She somewhat mumbled, faced heated so red her blush was purple-colored, from the red mixing with the blue of her fur. "Uh... who's... Kiri...?" she asked slowly and quietly, suddenly angry. Her emotions were on a roller coaster today, weren't they? She restrained herself from asking why he wasn't with Whysper, scared that he'd get angry with her. "Um... uh... uh... my owner's away right now... I can't... really... go back to her... uh..."

He found himself standing there, simply watching Kazilu as she tumbled her way through whatever she was trying to say. Syon wasn’t exactly sure what. He almost wanted to laugh, watching all the expressions pass across her face. “Kiris my sister, of sorts. I don’t think you’ve met her, she looks…ah,” He found himself fumbling for the word their owner had used, “Siamese? I think…”
It felt bizarre, having a somewhat normal conversation with Kazilu, he was too used to spiteful words being passed between them. He supposed once they were around other FMNs again it would be the same as usual. It was just strange… talking to her with no one else around. Maybe she wasn’t too bad? Or maybe I’m just loosing it…

She reflected over their conversation as she finally just shut her mouth. They were have a civilized exchange of words; an impossible thing--she used to believe--that could happen between them. And yet, here they were... no matter how much they stuttered, stammered, or stumbled over their words, they were speaking politely and kindly to each other. It had to be some kind of dream, or miracle. There was no possible way... and yet, here it was, happening. She had to be dreaming.

And then she did the most unthinkable thing a teen FMN like her could have done, she tackled Syon and began to try and tickle him with her paws. She was annoyed with the awkward, weird atmosphere between them and having fun usually got rid of it, in her mind. And this way, it also proved to her this was real. That she and Syon were actually getting along, instead of sneering and insulting each other. As she laughed with slight triumph with a "Got you!" she suddenly realized that this little moment wouldn't last forever.

What if... what if, around other FMNs, they'd return to insulting and ignoring and glaring... and all those not-so-nice things against each other. She didn't want it. She never had. She was slowly, ever so slowly, realizing what exactly what she was feeling, and she both loved and hated it. Finally, not being able to take her thoughts anymore, she returned her focus into wrestling with Syon. She hadn't gotten to do this but once with him, and she wanted this little moment between them remembered before he was taken away from her. By Whysper or some other really beautiful female FMN.

Syon yelped, his reflexes failing him as he was tackled to the ground, his body flailing, trying desperately to get away from Kazilus paws. This time he easily flipped her, switching their positions. He ginned down at her, licking her nose mockingly. Last time she had been bigger than him, giving her the upper hand, but this time Syon would be sure to give her more trouble, being just as big as her.
He noticed her mood switch slightly, still playful but somewhat… sadder? Cocking his head to the side he nuzzled his head against her soft chest fur. Trying to… what? He thought, cheer her up? Why should he care…
Either way, she had started their little play fight, but he’d make sure this time he’d be the one to finish it. His eyes practically glowed with mischief.

When he flipped her, all she could do was look up at him, wide-eyed. She'd forgotten he was as big--if not slightly bigger--than her, and she knew he'd probably win. Oh well, it never hurt to try. And then he licked her nose, causing her to blush so red that even a tomato cherry would be jealous of the lucious color. She was fighting to not just tackled him again (not that she actually could; he had her pinned to the ground!) but stopped when he nuzzled his head against her chest fur.

Eyes widened even more when she saw a look of concern cross his face, and then she leaned up as far as she could and licked his cheek on a whim, in order to... to what? To... to reassure him? Possibly... His expression changed over to mischief, and she knew she was in for it. However, she couldn't stop grinning in anticipation as she tried to get her paws free to tickle him and to gain the upper hand again. She doubted that was possible--wow, he was so strong now! (she flushed at the feel of his strong build)--and her own eyes danced with laughter and mischief.
