Entrance/Backstage Attire | In-Ring Attire

Real Name: Marcus Jameson

Ring Name: The Rock Icon

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 190 lbs.

D.O.B.: 9/16/83

Age: 23

Place of Birth: Las Vegas, Nevada

Current Residence: Los Angeles, California (billed from the "Sunset Strip")

Physical Description: Physically intimidating his opponents was never Revision's thing, and at 5'10", 190 lbs., it's not like he'd be able to do so anyway. Instead, his appearence lends an aura of arrogant confidence, showing that his personality is larger than any Samoan tank. Despite his new attitude, Revision's look hasn't changed all that much. His hair is still very straight, still around jaw level, and still blonde. The only difference is that the shade is a bit brighter now, nearing white. His eyes are still a bright, ice blue, seeming to be almost constantly narrowed slightly with Revision's mischevious smirk. Still possessing a lithe, toned frame rather than the overbearing muscles of his counterparts, Revision has just enough muscle as he needs to perform decently in a match. The rest is kept off to allow him to perform his many SPINNY FLIPS.

Bio: Marcus was born to Lucy and Jared Jameson on September 16, 1983, in a local hospital at Las Vegas. His parents were casino entrepaneurs, and Revision grew up with the best of everything. He was a spoiled brat, and due to the fact he was an only child, he grew to become very selfish, and was never really exposed the concept of sharing in his younger years. As he grew older, Revision became somewhat of a daredevil, often pulling off crazy, life-threatening stunts when nobody was looking. Jumping off the roof of his parents mansion onto a trampoline forty feet below, for example.

One day, while flipping through the channels of his satellite, wide-screen TV, he found a telecast of lucha libre. Amazed by the fantastic high-flying maneuvers these Mexican marvels pulled off, he decided right then and there that he was going to grow up to become like them. It was one of the few goals he didn't get bored with after a week.

His parents, of course, payed for everything, getting him the best trainers money could buy. Amazingly, despite the little prat he was, Revision seemed to have an innate talent for wrestling, and this was developed throughout the years. Eventually, he traveled down to Mexico, where he had a short stint as the masked El Diablo Blanco. However, he got bored of people not seeing his dashing good looks, and made the trip back up to America to wrestle in leagues there.

Eventually, Revision found his way to the BTWF in late summer of 2004. He made a big impact almost right away with his cocky attitude and high-flying abilities, and had a short rivalry with another cruiserweight who had joined during that time named Tsunami. During August of that year, he won a six-way single pin battle royale containing Tsunami, Seraph, Irvine Kanyon, Icy Ali, and Ravena, pinning Tsunami with the Envision Flip v1 (a 180 Springboard Shooting Star Press) after Icy Ali connected with a Whisper in the Wind, but was taken out of the match by Fox with a Superkick. He went on to face Xunkai for the Small Fry championship at Ragnarok '04 in a match that many herald as the best Small Fry title match ever. The match did end in a win for Revision after he accidentally knocked Gray Fox out and brought a chair into the ring, only to have Xunkai take it away from him. However, Gray Fox awoke at this point and saw the chair, disqualifying Xunkai for it. The title does not change hands on a situation like that, however, so though Revision had won the match, he still wasn't the champion.

The next month, Revision was involved in a six-way Ultimate X Invitational for the title with Tsunami, Alex Auldron, Twilight Tokyo Rose and, of course, Xunkai, which ended in him getting hit with a Corkscrew Moonsault off a scaffold from Xunkai that put him and Alex Auldron through a table. Meanwhile, Icy Ali was the one to climb the ropes and get the title. Revision left the BTWF for a while after that, feeling that the fed wasn't really right for him. He went on to have some success in indy feds throughout the states, but finally did make his return to BTWF at Mutual Annihilation '04, where he came in after the final Small Fry Championship match in BTWF to bash the title into the back of Twilight Tokyo Rose, the new champion's, head in a delcaration of war of sorts.

However, Twilight took her leave of the BTWF soon after, and Brian Blade proclaimed that the Small Fry division, as well as its championship, was now defunct. In outrage, Revision came out after the announcement to demand compensation, only to be met by the current Gaia Champion, Rocky, who challenged him to a match at BTWF's first ever inter-fed PPV, Absolute Zero. Revision fought hard, but Rocky was finally able to beat him with the Eighth Wonder, and Twilight appeared to get revenge, bashing her title belt into the back of Revision's head. Strangely enough, she again left the BTWF afterwards. After his loss to Rocky, Revision felt a little down, especially when The Heat took the title from Rocky in a 2/3 Falls match two weeks later in Rocky's last match in the BTWF.

Revision got another shot at the Gaia title against The Heat with Shadow Starr, Heat's old partner-turned-enemy, as the guest referee at Civil War '05. He lost there, too, after some shenanigans with Shadow and Heat, and fell into even more of a slump. However, another chance to redeem himself soon came. Riona Langly, having recently come back at the Civil War PPV, offered him a match at the BTWF's One Year Anniversary PPV, Legacy of Supremacy. After a long battle, with Revision attempting to play mindgames, using the finishers of past enemies of Riona, he finally won his match after accidentally taking out Grey Fox and bringing a steel chair into the ring, taking Riona out with a modified Vertebreaker onto it and getting the three count afterwards. After the match, Austin Azure and Xunkai, Revision's old rival, came to the ring and offered Revision a spot in their new faction, Empty Promises. Revision accepted.

Coming off the momentum of this big win, Revision faced Shadow Starr, who had recently lost his title match to Heat at Legacy of Supremacy for the Gaia title, in a Number One Contender's Match. The match was interrupted when Shadow attacked Heat, who was doing ringside commentary at the time, and it was declared that the match was a draw due to disqualification. Revision, furious at this, demanded he get his title shot. Heat gave it to him, and to Shadow as well, facing both of them in a Three Way Dance at Payback '05. Shadow was eliminated after getting an Inverted Brainbuster onto a turnbuckle from Revision and a Game Over from Heat, leaving the champion and Revision for the end of the match. After another knocking out of the ref, Revision removed an acoustic guitar from under the ring, bashing it over Heat's head and following it up with a Standing SSP for the win and the title.

Back at Legacy of Supremacy, the returning Twilight Tokyo Rose had won a Four Corner Survival Match for an open shot at the Gaia title, redeemable anytime throughout the BTWF '05-'06 year. She cashed it in during May of '05 after a confrontation with Revision backstage during a Madness show. The crowd was very excited for this match, knowing that it had been in the making ever since Mutual Annihilation. Revision was the winner in the end, however, hitting Twilight with an Inverted Brainbuster onto a turnbuckle and a Wave of the Future to the back of her head to retain his title.

Meanwhile, Red Comet, a Coast-to-Coast Wrestling superstar made his return on a Madness afterwards, proclaiming that he wanted to face Revision to determine who really was the best cruiserweight in Gaian wrestling. Revision accepted, and the two met at the Tournament of Gods II for Revision's Gaia title. After a high-flying, high-impact match, Revision knocked out the ref once again before once again retrieving a guitar. Red shocked the crowd, as well as Revision, by hitting an Enzuigiri to the guitar, breaking it. Revision countered the Starscream into an Alabamaslam onto the remains of the guitar, however, and finished Red off with a Future Shock into the same remains for the pin.

The next week, Revision accompanied Austin Azure to the ring for a post-ToG II announcement. Throughout the past few months, Xunkai and Azure had been battling Steve Twist and Riona Langly, though Revision stayed off to the side of the feud mostly, concentrating instead on holding his title. As the runner-up in the Tournament of Gods II, Azure had earned a shot at Revision's title, but seeing as Revision was Azure's faction partner, Azure had suggested that Revision make an open title challenge. Revision accepted. The person that accepted was none other than the exaulted Steve "Savior" Twist. Called by many the greatest Gaia Champion in the BTWF, the fans got quite excited at the prospect of a match between the two.

On Madness: Night of Champions IV, Revision faced Steve Twist for his title in a high-impact match, with Revision working the injured arm of Twist from his barbed wire ropes match at the last PPV against Xunkai. Just after Twist hit the Tranquility, Azure, who had accompanied Revision to ringside, through in the towel for his partner. After some checking, the officials found that this meant Twist won the match, but Revision kept the title. Revision was rather angry at this, however, and left Azure to be beaten by Steve Twist after the match. The two team mates soon reconciled, however, as next week they had to face HALO together, and their teamwork ended in a win with a Quintessence Buster on Kanyon, Revision getting a pin despite attempted interference from Ravena.

On the same night, Revision came out to do guest commentary in a triple threat match containing The Tiger, Kid Chaos and Yuri Yurievich to determine who would face him at fadetoblack for the Gaia title. Though Yuri seemed to be about the win the match with an X-Communication on TT, Kid Chaos ended the match in a no contest when he bashed a steel chair across Yuri's head. Following this with a Piledriver on the chair, it seemed as if Revision wasn't going to have any opponents for the pay-per-view. Deciding not to let that happen, and in an overt moment of cockiness, he entered the ring to declare that the match at fadetoblack would be a Fatal Four-Way, with he, Yuri, Kid Chaos and TT.

After a loss in a tag match the next week where TT pinned him with a Tiger Pounce, fadetoblack came about. In a surprise move, Revision revealed that, through a strange contract stipulation, that he was able to change the format of the title match to a Four Corner Survival rather than a Fatal Four-Way. That didn't change much near the end, however, as it all broke down into chaos during the last ten minutes. Finally, the match came to an end where, after Revision nearly broke The Tiger's arm with a Wave to the Future to it from the top rope, Yuri applied a Cross Armbreaker in an attempt to get a tap out. Revision ended these efforts with a new aerial finisher dubbed the "Epiphany", a 720? spin Double Jump Moonsault, pinning The Tiger with it to retain his title.

It seemed Revision was riding high with an unbeatable title reign, now only one month away from beating Steve Twist's landmark reign as the Gaia Champion. In a sudden turn of events, however, he quit the BTWF, citing problems backstage, thus vacating the Gaia title, which would later be picked up by Yuri Yurievich and eventually unified with the BTWF World Heavyweight Title in a unification match that took place at Re:Birth. Meanwhile, Revision disappeared from the wrestling scene. He made a brief appearence at the BTWF Final Chapter to face his friend Xunkai in a singles match, which he won with the Future Clutch, before disappearing again. Around the new year, however, he suddenly appeared again, making a few bookings in larger indy feds, mostly in Canada and the west coast of the U.S. People who came expecting to see the cocky, self-proclaimed "Future" were quite surprised when they were exposed to a quite different Revision.

Something had happened during that break that caused Revision to possibly go a little wacky, and now had taken on the persona of an 80's glam metal rockstar, his movelist updated, signatures re-named, and attire changed to fit this new attitude. Referring to himself as the "International Rock Superstar", Revision showed that, despite his change in attitudes, his wrestling skill had not deteriorated at all. After a few months of tearing up the indy scene, Revision received a call from one Steve Twist, a former enemy who had a new proposition to make...

Entrance Theme: "L.O.V.E. Machine" by W.A.S.P.

Entrance: The lights in the arena dim down to a dark blue color, a quick drum beat fading in through the sound system, white spotlights beginning to beginning to sweep over the arena and flash in time with the beat. A few quick guitar riffs come in, but quickly fade back out up until the beginning of the first verse, Blackie Lawless' charred vocals coming in.

Lady, have you known me, the perfect love machine?
I'm Virgo, my Leo's rising - Venus made me king

The guitars come in and Revision throws the curtains open, walking out into the aisle as the crowd lets loose their respective reactions, cheers and boos filling the arena, though he doesn't seem to be bothered by it. Instead, he just starts his way down the aisle, swaying his upper body a little to the beat of the song and singing along with the song lightly, occasionally turning to jaw with a negative fan or flirt with one of the female crowd members.

That trail of broken hearts; they all belong to me
Magic runs through my fingers - one touch, you'll see

The chorus of "L.O.V.E. Machine" by W.A.S.P. begins as Revision reaches the bottom of the ramp, taking a running start to hop up onto the apron and climb up onto the ropes, one foot on the bottom one and the other set on the middle, balancing without the use of his hands. Revision grins, then quickly pulls off his sunglasses and jacket, tossing them back towards an official and throwing his arms up in the air a few times, encouraging stronger reactions from the fans.

L-O! V-E! All I need's my love machine, oh
L-O! V-E! All I need's my love machine, oh
L-O! V-E! All I need's my love machine, oh
L-O! V-E! All I need's my love machine tonight...Tonight...

Revision then grabs the top rope and pulls both legs up onto it, springboarding off to land in the middle of the ring, the spotlights flashing around him in particular now. As usual, he picks a target and slowly begins to undo his belt, swiveling his hips as he begins to pull it off, grinning widely the entire time before whipping it out of the ring at one of the officials at ringside.

What can I do for you? Am I your wildest dream?
What do I move in you? Am I what I seem?

Reaching down, he slowly undoes his pants, grabbing the tops of them and looking like he's about to push them down his legs, but then suddenly rips them off completely, whipping them around his head once before tossing them over the ropes to the outside, getting some playful whistles and cat calls from the audience. Now in his ring gear, he tightens up his gloves and heads over to his corner as the song goes into a fade-out.

My eyes, they lie and you cry - love brings you pain
And if you try to love me, you'll not be the same!

Movelist

General Favorites: Evenflow DDT, Spike DDT (with leg swing beforehand), Leg-Hook DDT, Asai DDT, Brainbuster, Inverted Brainbuster, Butterfly Brainbuster, Superkick, Spinning Wheel Kick, Enzuigiri, Backflip Kick, Dropkick, MURDEROUS Savate Kick, Northern Lights Suplex, German Suplex, Half Nelson Suplex, ARM DRAGS

Submission Favorites: Dragon Sleeper, Mexican Surfboard, STF

Aerial Favorites: Diving/Springboard Huricanrana Takedown, Flying/Springboard Back Elbow, Quebrada Moonsault, Shooting Star Press, Somersault Corkscrew Leg Drop, Sky Twister Press, Quebrada Frogsplash

Signature Strikes

Shotei: A Palm Strike. This can be used as a counter against a running opponent, a staggered opponent in the corner, or just a dazed, standing opponent.

Roaring Shotei: A spinning Palm Strike. Can be used in any if the situations described above.

LIKE A HURRICANE~!: A Cartwheel into a Back Handspring into a Roaring Forearm. Revision almost always hits this move to an opponent in the corner, as he needs a lot of room to set it up. From the opposite side of the ring, Revision runs forward, then spins himself into a cartwheel, landing facing away from his opponent before crouching down to jump into the back handspring, spinning around 180? after finishing the move to hit the forearm. Really, only the last spin adds to the momentum of the maneuver. The rest is just flash.

Signature Dives

Frehley's Comet: A Fosbury FlopSault. Revision waits for his opponent to start to get up on the outside, then runs towards the ropes, turning himself 180? at the last second to fling himself backwards over the ropes. Rather than landing on his back like a normal Fosbury Flop, flips his body as he goes over the ropes to land the move like a Moonsault to the outside. This is the dive Revision will typically use on one person, when his opponent is outside the ring.

630 Suicida: A Springboard Corkscrew 630 Splash. Revision pulls himself up onto the top rope, turning 180? as he does so to face the inside of the ring before jumping off and twisting again in the air, spinning forward to land a 630 Splash to the outside. This is typically reserved for when he wants to take out an entire group of people.

Basic Signatures

We'reNotGonnaTakeItPlex: A Tiger Suplex '85/Half Nelson Clutch Suplex. With one arm, Revision applies a Half Nelson to the opponent, then reaches up under their other arm with his free arm to grab the arm applying the Half Nelson before flexing back to drop them on their head with the suplex.

Full Circle: An inverted Contra Code. Revision pulls the opponent into a Neckbreaker position before running up the nearest set of ropes or turnbuckles, flipping backwards in the air to land on his back, pulling the opponent down into a DDT in the process. A long-time signature, this move usually leads to one of his aerial finishers.

TOO MANY FLIPS COMBO: A Standing Spiral Tap followed by a Standing Sky Twister Press. Revision brings the opponent down to the mat on their back before diving forward, flipping onto his back and spinning his body around one full rotation to land the Spiral Tap, then quickly stands up, throwing himself backwards into a moonsault with another full rotation, landing the Sky Twister Press, usually following that up with a pin. Just a Standing Senton Bomb followed by a Standing Moonsault would probably work just as well, but...FLIPS AND SPINS~!

Future Clutch: An Inverted Brainbuster rolled into a Dragon Clutch. Revision simply lifts the opponent up to connect with the Brainbuster, but doesn't let go of the Inverted Facelock, instead bridging up and kicking off the mat to roll backwards, spreading his legs to land in a crouched position over the opponent's back, straightening up to lock in the hold.

Victory Anthem: A Fireman's Carry into an Emerald Fusion. Revision grabs the opponent and hefts them up onto his shoulders into a Fireman's Carry before pushing up their legs as if going for an F-U. Instead, he turns to the side, grabbing the opponent as they reach a vertical position around the waist and dropping to the mat with an Emerald Fusion.

Finishers

Primary Ground Finisher - One Hit Wonder: A Reverse Shining Wizard. Revision knocks his opponent to the mat and waits for them to sit up, or hits them with a Snapmare and stuns them with a strike before running towards them from behind, swinging one of his legs around to hook it over their shoulder, pulling forward with it in order to slam his other knee right into the back of their head and neck.

Primary Aerial Finisher - Chart Topper: A Corkscrew Moonsault Double Stomp. After grounding his opponent, Revision heads to the corner and climbs up top, facing the ring. From there, he jumps up, spinning around to face out towards the crowd before flipping backwards to land a Double Stomp on his opponent's chest. Enough practice from this move has enabled him to land on his feet most of the time if the opponent manages to roll away, though the shock of impact always stuns him for a few moments.

Rare Aerial Finisher - Triple Platinum: A 720? spin Double Jump Corkscrew Moonsault. Revision grounds his opponents, then runs to the ropes, jumping up on the middle one before hopping up from there onto the top, flinging himself backwards while twisting his body in a spiral for two full rotations before landing in a Moonsault position on his opponent.

Rare Ground Finisher - Victory Anthem: Greatest Hits Edition: Otherwise known as the Victory Anthem GHE. A Torture Rack into a Reverse Air Raid Crash/Celtic Cross. Revision hoists his opponent up onto his shoulders in a Torture Rack position, then slips them backward so that they lay diagonally across his back, keeping their leg hooked with one arm and holding their head with the other before dropping down in a seated position to land the piledriver. This move is different from a Schwein in that the opponent goes diagonally across Revision's back instead of vertically at his side.

9-10-06: Profile version 1.5 posted. OMGWTF, an update?!?!?! Yeah, finally got around to making some changes. New, less-wordy nickname. New entrance theme and corresponding entrance. And changed the name of the Let the Hammer Fall to the Chart Topper, as well as various minor edits probably not worth looking into.
